This candle is a fun housewarming gift for our neighbor friend who recently moved because they purchased a home in a different neighborhood. The smell is neutral for male or female. I have not burned this candle due to it being a gift, so I cannot speak on that aspect. It is a simple candle with the most perfect silly saying on the front of a glass jar.
