DEWALT 18V XR Compact Blower,Tool Only, DCV100-XJ

Okay,I have read reviews on this Dewalt blower, a few saying it’s not powerful enough etc.I guess it depends on your expectation, I bought this as a backup for my noisy Stihl blower. I use the blower for plenty of things, the Stihl is by far the more effective tool, but it’s bigger and petrol powered.The dewalt is perfect for early morning jobs, using inside the house (no fumes), drying the car, dusting rooms, cleaning garage etc. it is not good for clearing my back garden of lots leaves, shifting excess dirt or water.So, if you want a lightweight, powerful blower for easy work, get the dewaltc if you want a rally powerful garden tool. Get the Stihl.If you can afford both, get both. I am very happy with both of mine.Battery wise, I run a 4ah battery and you get. Decent usage time, though to make it usable.

Arrived on time and it's done a great job so far, powerful enough to blow gravel about but I use it for the leaves, hopefully it will last as it comes with a 3 year warranty. It has a 3 level adjustable power switch for the air flow and a switch for constant air flow, adjustable trigger switch.

Decent little blower. Isn’t going to shift a big pile of damp leaves but is ideal for grass, dust and such. Lightweight, easy to use, my granny could use it I think.

Because I already have other DeWalt products I decided to buy this one(because they share the same battery). Blowing capacity is really good 8/10, ease of use 10/10, battery life 8/10 , weight lightness 10/10..variable speed button 10/10. I managed to do the whole double garden without battery going flat, I had the spare battery ready just in case but didn’t need it. Full charge working 20-30mins or longer depending on use…cleared leaves and would debris.

Great addition to carry on the van. It's light and compact.Now I noticed DeWalt themselves don't call this a leaf blower, they just call it a blower. But even so I have never had an issue with it. Alright, if you have a lot of leaves it can struggle to move them due to weight, but if your just clearing your drive then this will do. I have also had no issues moving wet leaves. However I really bought this to clean up my mess, mostly sawdust. I clean my equipment and then clear the work area, normally a drive or lawn. For the price its fantastic. It also comes with an inflator which is ideal for that blow up guest bed, which I have done a few times.I review other items, you can find me on you tube and my web site. P.S. I've had mine 6 years now and still going strong.
