Tilley Hat

Quality bucket hat great for keeping the sun and rain off when out and about on your trails/travels....lovely fit

Brought this for my teenage son’s Duke of Edinburgh hikes.I own many Tilley hats, all are great providing comfortable sun or rain protection and are great for long walks, the sweat band and grommets ensure your head never gets too hot and sweaty. The fit is loose but comfortable and the cords ensure the hat stays on in the wind.But the look is too old and formal for a teenager, this is where the Wanderer comes in, all the above Tilley qualities but in a more modern package,black grommets, leather patch label, pre washed for softness.Showerproof as well as sun protection, wide brim that can be snapped up for hood, phone use or map reading and very soft so can be shoved into rucksack.All I all very impressed, great hat he will weR and know great protection.Highly recommended, expensive but will last a lifetime, I regularly wear my Tilley from 20 years ago.

Bought some cheaper unknown brand versions from Amazon, should of jumped straight to this as it's very nice, feels like it will last.

I read all the reviews I could before purchasing this hat.It says everywhere that Tilley hats are handmade in Canada.Mine seemed genuine and the tag said " made in China " ???It was delivered promptly squashed flat like a dish rag in a plastic bag.The fit was fine and I thought the quality was good until I noticed fraying around one of the eyelets in the hat's crown.The hat was immediately returned for a full refund.Several reviewers have had their hats for years. The one I bought wouldn't have lasted five minutes.

Some people mentioned sizing issues but I measured my head as instructed and used the chart and it fits perfectly.Very well made hat. Nice feel. Soft inside. Perfect appearance.Someone mentioned confusion about where they are made. Tilley say their hats are designed in Canada and made in China.

I love this hat already! It fits perfectly, its fantastic quality and the colour is great!I took the lace out of it, as I found it a little uncomfortable but I've kept it in the hat pocket so that I can rethread it if its windy out. Aside from that super comfortable and I think it looks great! Nice to finally have a hat that I feel comfortable and confident in!

I like the colour, the material is softer than the Tilley hat I bought in Sydney, 24 years ago.A comfortable hat to wear that will protect me, from the sun, with SPF 50+ rated material, with a generous sized brim.

Very good quality and well made hat.
