I tried this product out because I was looking for a boost to to my nutrition. I got tired of the commercial chewable/pill vitamins that seem to have holes in their vitamin/nutrition or were incredibly expensive. I have been using this product for about 2 months. Its a very sheer powder - it mixes easily in water with a fork. The taste is easy to adjust to; it tastes like sweet wheatgrass. It's not very gritty and it feels like it absorbs pretty quickly. I have extra energy and focus on the days I take it and it has helped curb sugar cravings. As someone who had the bariatric surgery, I'm pleased to have found something that helps me maintain my daily nutrition needs without added sugar or extra carbs while being reasonably priced. I also appreciate that it's not a pill or a chewable product - it is easy for my body to absorb.

I purchased Ancient Nutrition SuperGreens Powder for my mom after she heard about it from Dr. Axe on TV. My uncle also recommended the product. I loved the pure, healthy ingredients. My mom does not eat vegetables or fruit often so I was hoping this could give her a boost. Well, I ended up using it for myself in my morning smoothies! Personally, we think the taste is awful if just mixed in water. But if mixed in some vanilla almond milk or a smoothie, it is more palatable. I find it does give me a slight energy boost. Will continue to take.

*Edit: The taste and texture seemed to get harder to bare the more I drank it. I ended up not finishing the container and gave it away to someone else who wanted to try it. We have been using AG1, which my husband and I both like a lot, but it’s very expensive. We’ve only been using this for a couple of days so I can’t say if we like it or not yet. I am reviewing the taste/texture of it. This powder is really coarse and doesn’t dissolve so you have to keep swirling it as you drink it. That’s not a problem for me but just so others reading this are aware. The smell is pretty strong and not pleasant but I would say it smells like carrots. The taste is not pleasant either but I manage by not breathing while drinking lol. The taste doesn’t linger though, so that’s good. I got this in hopes that it can be an economical replacement for my AG1. I chose the one with collagen added so I’m hoping to get the benefits of that as well.

Well, I've been loving the Ancient Nutrition Organic SuperGreens Powder in my daily smoothies! Not only does it taste amazing, but the blend of over 25 superfoods like spirulina, chlorella, reishi, and matcha gives it a powerful nutrient boost. And can we talk about the added bonus of Probiotics? Gut health, here I come! What sold me? It's organic, making it an easy, guilt-free way to amp up my daily greens intake. Feeling energized and good about this addition to my routine! I prefer to add it to my protein smoothie!

This is the fifth greens powder supplement that I've tried and there are no negative after-effects of drinking this, it does not cause bloating, or cause any other kind of discomfort. I drink it first thing in the morning before I do any sort of exercise, and I feel fine. The ingredient list is impressive, fairly low in carbs, although I wish it had more fiber, and low in sugar. The taste is fine, mixed with water, it has a subtle taste of mint, like fresh mint leaves. But for me, there is an astringency to this, maybe from the apple cider vinegar, not sure, but I have come to dread drinking this, it irritates my throat, just temporarily, but enough. While I like its purported benefits, once I am finished with my supply, it will not be purchased again. I do like this brand's collagen supplement powder, and love the Gut Restore product.

I was using this product for about 2 years in the jug decided to try the bag the product was always green, bought the bag and the product is now brown. A whole lot different from the jug. Same product. So why is it brown? Money down the drain and a lost customer.

This product has a high grass/hay taste. I mixed it with water and it very similar to green tea strongly over-brewed. I wasn't enjoying it so chugged it. Another serving was mixed with some organic beet/orange/carrot juice. I thought it was awful. That may have been the two products together. Juice freshly made from those same foods is absolutely wonderful! I will taste the juice by itself later. I added fresh squeezed lime juice and it made it more tolerable but I still chugged it in order to taste it as little as possible. The after effects are good. I do feel bolstered physically. It is too early to call it, yet I am a a self aware person so I will likely notice differences. It is quite expensive. The bag contents appears so minimal for the price paid. I recognize the product is packaged by weight and not by volume. With 'volume' in mind... a scoop might contain more than a serving due to the fine powder of the product. I am noting how many servings I am using in order to determine if I get 50 from a bag. At this time, I am giving it a 3 star rating due to the intense and not so attractive taste and cost. Fresh vegetable juice, heavy on the greens, (always including a lemon or lime) is a positive taste experience as one gets recipes down pat. I may try to find a product that includes other fruits and vegetables to compliment/mask that hay flavor of plentiful greens. I won't buy inferior products to get that however. I am open to suggestions. At the end of the bag, I'll try to edit the review for physical outcomes one way or the other with daily or every other day use, as sporadic use is likely not a good indicator.
