Learn Antibiotics: A collection of resources for learning antimicrobial

The staple needed in every clinician’s library.
As an ID pharmacist I couldn’t be more excited to receive this book and it exceeded my expectations. The author simplifies the most critical concepts in regular ID/ASP practice in a way that allows you to easily understand and subsequently apply the material. I really appreciate the explanations for the question answers.I liked this book so much that I ordered another copy as I feel that I will need one in my office to lend to students and residents in addition to my personal one.Whether you are a hospitalist wondering what antibiotic to empirically treat with, a floor pharmacist wanting to expand your understanding of antibiotics, an RN wanting to understand more about you are giving your patients, or a member of the ID team looking for a great resource for some of the more resistant organisms and their treatments, this book will provide you with that and then some!Highly recommend!

Excellent resource for pharmacy students!
Having been an infectious diseases instructor for pharmacy students for the past six years, I'm always looking for novel and unique ways to engage students with the often daunting and overwhelming volume of information that is antimicrobial therapy. This book has a wealth of resources, from one-page "cheat sheets" which summarize high-yield information, to fun learning activities to suit the needs and preferences of every student! It's a great supplement to the online resources available from IDStewardship!I highly recommend this as a companion for students currently learning infectious diseases for the first time, as well as for those who are looking for a fun way to refresh and retain their ID knowledge in preparation for the licensure examination!

What a way to ~Learn Antibiotics~ 💊
I was so excited to get this book and it did not disappoint. I’m an AMS pharmacist and frequently have students - this book is a great reference for quick cheat sheets (includes informational tables) that are clear and concise! But also includes questions and answer keys of ID information. I’ll look forward to more of these books! 🤞🏼

Great for students or newly practicing
I was expecting something more easily applicable and direct for practice for inpatient. I think this is geared more towards students and newly practicing graduates. More like a study guide than anything.
