AP Physics 1 Premium, 2024: 4 Practice Tests + Comprehensive Review + Online Practice (Barron's AP Prep)

A pretty good AP exam prep book.
This a good test-prep book covering a wide range of potential test problems. It needs more variety of problems to be added. Solutions can be more thorough than they are; often assumptions are made and steps are left out.

Filled with typos and inadequate in every aspect
I have taught Physics for 15 years to different age groups (Grades 11/12, A-level, IB and University Physics) and I have used A LOT of textbooks for teaching. This is by far the worst resource I have ever seen. How is it even getting good reviews? Not only is it filled with typographical errors (especially the solutions provided, found some in every chapter!!!), the poor content makes it incredibly hard for students to self learn physics.Texts by Giancoli and Halliday are still my "go-to" for introductionary college/university physics.

Good book quality.
It's very well organized and is a legit book that could help in class or even testing.

Thorough and Effective AP Physics Prep
The AP Physics 1 Premium, 2023 edition offers a comprehensive review that is very useful for students preparing for the exam. The content is well-structured, covering all key topics in detail, and the inclusion of four practice tests is a great way to assess understanding and readiness. The online timed test feature adds an extra layer of preparation, simulating the real exam experience. While the explanations could sometimes be a bit more straightforward, overall, it’s an excellent resource that effectively prepares students for success on the AP Physics exam!

Typos that will make it hard for students to learn the correct formulas
The number of typos leading to incorrect formulas is unacceptably high. Example, one of dozens on p 48: velocity = displacement vector over magnitude of displacement vector (delta x). I don’t think so, no - denominator should be delta t.
