I have a freezer that goes on and off all day removing frost. However that dries out your meat and other foods you want to keep moist and fresh. The freezer paper keeps your meats etc from drying out and losing moisture. This is a good quality paper and it lasts quite awhile..

Sometimes you just buy a new product, (new to me, I hadn't bought freezer paper before), because of the name brand. I'm so glad I did, I can trust Reynolds for my needs. Isn't that nice, as well as important, to be able to buy something that you know will be a good product? It is to me. This rolls and wraps well, it should huh, it does! It's easy to use, the cutter cuts right, like it's supposed to! I feel good about this choice and I know my meats and other foods will be better protected against freezer burn, too! Great product! I use it for crafting and painting to protect my table surface. Paper is kind of thin but it serves its purpose.
