I bought this for my son last Xmas. Ten months later it is still levitating on his dresser. Great and well made product!

This item was bought as a gift and was not opened until after the return date had expired. After watching all the tutorials and trying for several hours (taking breaks periodically to make sure the item did not overheat), it simply does not work. It appears the magnet within the globe is possibly off center. It was boxed and handled carefully, all instructions followed, but simply is a faulty item. Very disappointed to get an almost $90 paper weight as a gift for someone. I wish I had been within the return window as it clearly is defective.

Items is a little small but works fine. Once you start it spinning it continues (Newton's first law). However, I do wish the manufacturer had accounted for the Earths tilt and simply offset the south pole magnet. I know some will consider this anal, but this small but important detail means a lot for accuracy.

Great purchase!

This globe is much smaller than it seems, and the base almost seems too big. There's a definite learning curve to get it to levitate properly which can be frustrating.
