Shimano Tiagra 4700 10 Speed Cassette Cycling Equipment

Purchased this as a like for like replacement. Good quality, easy to fit and works well. I managed 3000 miles on my last one, great value for money

As in my previous review about the wahoo kicker trainer,I purchased this separately,it fitted a treat,bear in mind you might need a spacer , depending on the bike you have,but does the job,

I swapped out my original cassette to this one recently, and found that it has one huge benefit, When you free wheeled with the old one you could hear the rachet noise (right from purchase) and it was a pain. OK, I could use it as a proxy bell when I approached people, but is was loud and intrusive. I thought it was something i would just have to put up with. However, this one is silent. Perfection. OK, I have to use my bell now, but that's a minor issue. Plus it seems you get a lot for not much money!

This 10 speed cassette was bought to be used in a turbo trainer. Never came with the spacer that was need to stop gear 9 from not fitting correctly. Luckily I had one spare. Not your top end cassette but it will do the job and at reasonable price by a quality brand.

I have replaced an original 11-30 gear assembly with this to give a very useful lower gearing to my road bike. It needs an extension hanger fitted to the frame as well at under £5 to give clearance for the derailleur.I have since not come across a hill I cannot get up even though not that fit.You will need a chain whip or similar to remove the old one though, together with a spline tool, so not a diy figment without these.

Good quality and fits 10 speed hub no problems

As I couldn't find or buy a Shimano Ultegra or 105 cassette for love or money I decided to lower my sights and buy and fit the Tiagra until I could get something better. I've been really surprised with the Tiagra. It does its job well and I have no complaints. I suppose the ultimate test will be to see how long it lasts. I cycle 4000 miles a year or thereabouts.
