Paying for convenience
Update (8/26/22): These are shipped with the caps barely tightened, and while they have an inner seal, after handling the bottles, my fingers were sticky. Not sure why you'd ship with loose caps! I removed the outer seal, tightened the caps, then put them in the cabinet. Reduced to 2-stars. Summary: When it comes to electrolyte sports drinks, there are lots of offerings. I grew up drinking Gatorade as my sports drink of choice. While there are many electrolyte powder offerings, this is a ready to drink solution. Previously reviewed the CF Drink, which is a similar offering. Observations: With food, our family is fairly health conscious, so we get most of our groceries from Whole Foods. In addition to being organic, the "Country of Origin" is very important to us. The Tropical Fruit is different from most offerings, so it's exciting to try that as well. This one mixes pretty well (just a quick shake of the bottle), and doesn't have any solid particles after mixing. Recommendations: Everyone's taste is different; some products are too sweet, others too salty; it's all relative. This one has a relatively light and sweet taste. For electrolyte drinks, I don't feel the extra cost is worth the short amount of time it takes to mix up a serving in a shaker bottle, but everyone's preference is different. Pros: Low sugar and not too sweet; clean/simple ingredients; made in the USA. Country of Origin specified on Amazon page (made in USA). Cons: Cost, these are 32oz bottles, and for comparison you can probably get the same size bottle at your local convenience store for $1, vs. $5/each. Conclusion: At $22 for the 4 servings ($5.50/serving) or $39 for 8 servings, rating this 3-stars (cost). Sucralose Sweetened
Compare to Gatorade or Powerade. or to Pedialyte (high in zinc which is lost when sick with diarrhea) Helps prevent dehydration Purified Water, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Potassium Citrate, Salt, Natural & Artificial Flavor, Sodium Citrate, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Zinc Gluconate and Yellow 6. These are 1 liter bottles ... about 3 servings per bottle. Tropical flavor of banana, pineapple, orange, lime Made in USA Type 5 plastic bottle with easy open white lids Has a plastic tamper seal, but I was easily able to remove the lid without damaging it. Surprised to see orange spots from the drink inside the lid Foil seal is tight Arrived in a brown cardboard box ... tight fit, so these have a great chance of arriving unscathed.

Salt water never tasted so good
This stuff is definitely not natural. it tastes decidedly artificial, but the kids loved it—even when I watered it down, which is good. This is basically salt water with some zinc thrown in for good measure (I'm not sure if zinc is supposed to help with hydration but it's a good essential mineral for immunity). This is comparable to a low-sugar gatorade more than Pedialyte, which tastes really salty. Gatorade has more sugar and better flavors but this tropical flavor is as good or better than any Gatorade flavors. Unfortunately they use sucralose, which has some bad press as an artificial sweetener and yellow dye #6, which is completely unnecessary and potentially bad for kids. If you understand the ingredients and their shortcomings, you will enjoy the drink for sick kids or recovery after/during working out. At under $5 a bottle, this is a really good value.

Stay hydrated!
* POWERLYTE Electrolyte Solution Hydration Sports Drink - Electrolyte Hydration & Recovery Drink - Replaces Electrolytes, Fluid & Zinc – Best for Adults & Kids - 33.8 (1L) Fluid Oz - (Tropical) 8 Pack* Great flavor my daughters will drink this like look-aid. Extremely helpful when they’re sick and can’t keep anything down. I would order this brand again. We’ve tried a few different flavors and liked them all!

Tastes Awful. Added Sugars. Pickle Juice is Superior.
One container has a 50% recommended value of Added Sugars. It's just 100 calories, but this tastes awful. In picture 1, I actually added soy sauce and apple cider vinegar, weird right? Yes, it failed. I've added ACV and salt to this at times and somehow it still didn't improve it except for the salt, ever so slightly. The problem is the mouthfeel of this isn't very good and the fruity taste combined with salt is like "Hey, ya know what this Mango could use? SALT! Peaches? SALT! Salt, and more salt, and then make it kinda syrupy when you drink it. Looking over this, and thinking of my pickle juice I make myself with added electrolyte benefits including a little bit of garlic of all things, I prefer pickle juice! In many ways, I'd rather just add some salt and ACV to water, especially club soda, and drink it instead for far less of a cost.
