Vater Drumsticks VWHWP - Speciality Sticks - Wood Handle Whip- Poly strands

I am an amateur drummer but have seen professionals use them and thought I would try. They provide a wonderful sound somewhere between a stick and a brush and are very well made and nice to use.

Have struggled to find that happy mid point between sticks and wire brushes. These provide it for me. Not has hard hitting as hot-rod type sticks (and more resilient) but harder than the nylon brushes I'd tried. Very pleased and would recommend.

Nice product, it's a shame I had to replace the rubber holder as it kept flying off. Quality control issue?

Had them for over a year and are still brilliant.

I bought these because I couldn't get hold of the version with the wooden handle which I really love. But these are quite a bit shorter. As an alternative drumstick my order of preference would be the wooden handle Vater Brush Whip because of their length weight and durability, failing that a pair of Flix Sticks as they are longer than this whip

Great sound. More robust than wooden hotrods but the rubber band they allows your to slacken or tighten the rods flew off within minutes so I've used duct tape. Would still buy again
