Excellent tank
Great tank, lid works well, no spills. Reels are a little tight to change to 120 but once you have done this a few times they work well.

The standard
The standard in developing tanks for 35mm and 120 film. Tried, tested and refined over many years. Good quality and easy to use.

Quality equipment
Bought this to replace one I`d bought and regularly used for far too many years to remember. There have been a few changes to the design of the tank but on first use I was reassured there was nothing detrimental about the new design. If this one lasts as long as the previous one(and there`s nothing faulty about it, just thought I should update before anything does go wrong), I`ll be more than happy.

Great tank.
A great tank. The reels are not as easy to load, with 120 film as the older Paterson reels. They have too much "give". You just need to be a little gentle with them. Other then that, a very good tank. And it's tight, so no spillage.

It's a Paterson Super System 4 - no need to say anything else.
I've used this and only this tank (in it's various previous forms) for nearly fifty years. The design has changed very little - and the film spiral not at all. It works well with both 35mm and 120. I'm sure there is a better design, the ratchet sytem can't be the best/only way to load film, but nobody has ever come up with an alternative (as far as I know). If you want to get into film developing this is where to start.

Best developing tank out there
Really easy to use and can agitate either with the lid or with the stick.
