Pros :I used this for luggage on a trip around the UK. I only took this piece of luggage for a 2 month trip. I took a lot of lightweight clothes, 3 dresses, 3 skirts, swimsuit, six cotton shirts, underwear and pjs and a small light towel. Cosmetics and bar shampoos and flipflops It is roomy and very well built. It fits in the overhead of large aircraft and under the seat of smaller ones. It is sooo comfortable to carry, seems to disburse the weight well, even for an older person (58). Very easy to carry.Cons: once packed I could not fit a water bottle or anything in the front outside pocket, it is too tight so that pocket is a waste. You cannot really use packing cubes, they take too much room. The best way to pack is to roll your clothes. I would have liked a proper zipped outside pouch.Other than that I love it.

I bought and used this pack for a three week international hiking trip. This essentially was my day pack for our 10 hour hiking days. It comfortably carried my water, first aid kit, sunscreen, lunch, etc.But it was so much more! I could easily pack five days worth of clothes in it. It was a travel sleeve that zips around the back straps allowing it to be safely checked at the airport when you need to check it.There was a “Mary Poppins” like quality to it. No matter how much I stuffed in there it seemed like there was always room for more. 😁

Purchased this bag for my trip to Korea (2 weeks) I didn’t want to take check in luggage and since we were going to be traveling within Korea I wanted a backpack that would make it easier to travel considering all the stairs. I am 5” and the fit was perfect, you can adjust the straps as well. It was very comfortable while wearing and provided enough space for everything I took! I tend to overpack and even with planning I still overpacked for this trip. But I was able to fit everything inside! Overall very happy and backpack is overall very accessible and the quality is fantastic!! Will definitely use this for many years to come. Plan on buying one for my partner for our next trip!

Purchased as a carry on travel backpack. High quality materials and great strap systems to synch down the pack. I especially like that the belt and shoulder straps can be stowed away.Flew on three different Asian airlines and none of them had an issue with the size.

I am such an Osprey fan! I have/ had 8 packs and the roll up toiletry bag. Love Osprey. So do my kids, they keep “stealing” my bags! LOL.When I first received this bag, I thought there was no way it was 40 liters. It is deceptively larger than it looks. I love that the harness system is adjustable. I am 5’4 with a shorter torso and I am in my 50s. Fully packed out, this bag was a bit heavy for me to carry with just the hand straps. However, the harness system made it feel like I was carrying very little!I bought the Peak Design (30-45L) bag for my 5’2” petite athletic daughter. That bag, while well made with some cool features, is very heavy, no load lifters and a hip belt not made for us short people! She promptly stole this Osprey from me! So…. I had to order another Osprey. I ordered the Osprey Fairview 36L wheeled bag. Can’t wait to get it!

Bought this backpack for a Europe trip. I’ve taken it on a couple of test runs and think it is a nicely sized pack with some useful features.

Took this bag with me for a 14 day trip to Italy. Managed to fit at least 8 days of clothes in the duffle and one extra pair of tennis shoes. Luckily I was able to do laundry while overseas. I am 5' 4" and after adjusting the straps for my torso it was super easy to carry and very comfortable. I had no issues getting this bag on the plane or the trains over in Italy. Was very handy to have a backpack vs lugging around my suitcase. Straps on the outside were perfect for attaching my travel pillow and blanket among other things

My wife and I got these 2 his/hers backpack travel bags for a two week trip to Japan. Initially I was worried it would be too small.It turned out to be just the right size for “one bagging”! And actually it is big enough for the entire trip and more! A larger bag would tempt us to take more than we needed. If there’s things we want to take home we can just buy a small bag to check on the airline.Honestly, a bigger bag makes me want to pack more. For a developed country you don’t need much, if you need something and forgot it, you can buy it anywhere. I took more clothes than I needed, and with the help of laundry sheets I was able to stay clean and fresh. For two weeks you don’t need much, and can wash what is needed. Many shirts and pants went unused.I love this bag, it allowed me to get on a plane, train, and bus without having to check anything in! It was so convenient and comfortable that I’m using it for all my travels now. The price is worth it.I do recommend a very small light weight daypack for when you drop this off at your destination. I’m still searching for that.
