They go to Canterlot, Cloudsdale, Appleloosa, Manehattan and the Everfree forest. Along the way they buy gifts for Twilight and her friends. It's only 21 pages and the text is big so it's pretty basic, but It is fully illustrated on every page and the pictures look like they came from the show. It was pretty fun to read. Review: An overview of Equestria - My five year old enjoyed this book, which is basically an overview of the kingdom of Equestria. It follows the travels of Princess Cadance and Shining Armour as they journey to Ponyville. There are new details added that aren't in the show, so it's not too redundant for MLP series fans. The font is a little small to read easily while showing a child the pictures, at least on the kindle, but overall it is a decent book for pony-lovers.

A fun picture book for the My Little Pony Fan
My 3 year old loves My Little Pony, and many of the books available are about the "classic" ponies and not those in the new TV series, so this one was a welcome addition to our collection. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor (these are that ponies that were married in the second season finale and now living in the Crystal Empire) decide to take a tour of Equestria. They send letters and photos to Twilight Sparkle along the way, with description of each of the main areas they visit, such as Canterlot, Appaloosa, Cloudsdale, the Everfree Forest, etc. If you are a casual watcher of the show or the confused parent/grandparent of a show watcher, this can give you more information about where the various episodes have been set. My daughter does like it since she likes anything pony, but there is probably a bit too much text per page to really hold her attention. Also, since it is isn't really a story, but more of a series of postcards, there isn't that much plot to hold it all together. If you are looking for more of a plot and good introduction to who the ponies are, I suggest the My Little Pony Cutie Mark Quest Panorama Sticker Storybook, which follows the story of the episode and explains how each of the six main ponies got their cutie marks. But if you have a big fan of My Little Pony in your house, this will still be a popular item, especially at such a reasonable price.

Cute
Cute short story of postcards sent from different cities around Equestria to Twilight Sparkle from Cadence and Shining Armor. My kids who are all MLP fans liked it. Has nice pictures. I wish it told a little more about the lesser known cities, and not just the ones we already visited through the TV series.

Great My Little Pony book
This is a cute MLP book for my 5 year old pony fan. It’s a fun story about travels through Equestria and all the different ponies and cities that are in the kingdom. All the main characters make an appearance and the illustrations are great.

Very Cute
My daughter (4 years old) loved this. She loved to see the pictures of most of the places that they mention in the series. She wanted to read it again & again.

Finally some books about the new series!
My girls(5 and 2.5) love this My Little Pony series and this book is great for them. It talks about the different areas of the Equesteria with lots of great pictures. I have even given this book as a gift to another 5 year old girl since MLP is very popular with little girls right now and I love any reason to get them reading.

Love this book!
My 4 year old is obsessed with MLP. I mean I starting to think Minnie Mouse is getting jealous. I knew this book would be a hit for story time. I love reading this and quizzing her and her brother who is Bronie on what gifts Princess Celestia and Shining Armor brought for whom.
