Caring Child Figurine

I have a small collection of Willow Tree, 15 or so pieces, which I have collected over the past 6 or 7 years. I have been gifted pieces and have bought some pieces, with each meaning something special and personal to me. The manner in which Willow Tree is crafted, affords the owner/gifter to interpret the thoughts, feelings and sentiment of the piece. Each figurine’s face is featureless to allow such an interpretation. Some people find it a little creepy but I, personally, love the overall look and flexibility. These are made from resin but crafted to look like wood, are of subtle hues and are very tactile. Genuine pieces have the Lordi date stamp, somewhere on the body of the piece and as shown in my photos. This little figurine stands approx 14cm high and represents my son, in a family grouping that I am creating There are many Willow Tree ‘rip-offs’/fakes on the market but very rarely/never does the quality match the genuine article. The genuine IS made in China and, as such, has a sticker on the base stating so. For some reason, this worries those starting on their Willow Tree journey but, rest assured, providing you carry out due diligence as to the genuineness of the figurine, a ‘Made in China’ sticker is completely normal This piece came well wrapped in a lovely box and with a little name card, which you can display alongside your piece should you wish. This makes a lovely meaningful gift and, whilst some retailers sell at exorbitant prices, this piece is on a par with the Willow Tree website. However, as a Prime member, you benefit with no delivery fees and next day delivery. I love this little boy (not quite as much as my own little boy!!🤭🤭) and hope that this has been helpful in your decision-making

I love all Willow Tree figurines, although I am not quite so keen on the ones with wire attachments! Each piece that I own reminds of someone special - this piece, the Caring Child - reminds me of my grandson, a delightful, thoughtful boy. Because the pieces have no faces, you can "see" anyone you want to see and also, because of the lack of colour, you are not inhibited by, say, black hair or blue eyes, when the person you want to be reminded of has blond hair and brown eyes. This is a superb range of figurines and there are pieces to suit all occasions.

A lovely piece on its own, but not in proportion to the other figures I want to display it with. With a slightly smaller girl, he sits at the feet of a reading figure I intended as their teacher, but if they both stood up he would be at least as tall...

This will add to the collection for my daughter, her partner and my grandson

Well made and in per-proportionate with the other figure we have "Willow Tree The Gift Figurine" that can also be found on Amazon. The "Willow Tree The Gift Figurine" was brought for us when we had our first child, but now we have a second (5 months) and the first is now 4 years old seemed fitting we update the display with this figure to represent the eldest and the youngest obviously take the place of the baby figure. Both sit side by side beautifully

The delivery of this figurine arrived promptly and in excellent condition! I chose this product because it so beautifully represented one of my twin boys. It portrays the caring young man he has become and is a nice addition to my growing collection of Willow Tree figurines that I have chosen to represent the people that are so important to me and that help define me and represent the great things in my life.
