Steiff - 12938-30cm Charly Dangling Teddy Bear in Suitcase (Beige)

What a delight this little bears is! We bought him as a present for a special lady - but SO wanted to keep him for ourselves. Our friend lives is Gran Canaria and so Charly's suitcase was ideal as basis for sending him on his trip. She instantly fell in love with him too.From previous reviews we expected quite a small bear but we were pleasantly surprised about his actual size. He is beautifully soft and cuddly and such a lovely face :-) Charly's suitcase is a bit small and he looks a little cramped, so it could be a bit bigger. The case is lovely but not particularly strong and not really suitable for a heavy handed child to play with.As usual, Amazon's delivery was prompt and there were no problems with the order. Packaging was OK, however there should have been more padding inside the delivery box to protect Charly's suitcase. It could have so easily arrived damaged, so we consider myself lucky on this occasion.Overall value was excellent and we can highly recommend this little bear - we are very tempted to buy one for ourselves!

Charly is a very soft teddy, with a few beans in the bottom to help them sit. The case is cute & made from srong card but it is prefect for what I wanted to use it for and compliments the bear well.Delivery was great. I ordered Thursday evening around 9pm and was due tk be delivered Monday. It arrived Saturday by 10:15am. Amazing service.Very happy with the product and service. It also arrived on a very special day so I am very grateful. Thank you 😊

Excellent quality great price

The Royal Mail disruption over the Xmas delayed our gift for our grandchild Charlie. Now 6 weeks later Charlie has arrived, having been dispatched on the 12th December in good time as stated by the retailer. We had all given up hope of it ever arriving and we were given a full refund as promised. Now we have to get our refunded payment back to the retailer as we are so delighted with this purchase, late as it was.Charly is a truly wonderful character. A soft and cuddly bear presented in such a delightful way, that any one receiving him will cherish forever. The story of Charly's 6 week journey will follow this gift for years to come. ......You will not be disappointed!

This was a birthday gift 🎁 & was well received x

I bought this as a present for a 60th birthday keepsake for a family member. When it arrived I loved the little bear , but was really disappointed with the suitcase . I had expected this to be made out of maybe faux leather, but it is made out of cardboard. It looked cheap and had a couple of small dents. My initial thoughts were to return it, and had begun the process. I was worried that it may have been fake.I did a bit of research on line and found that Some very well known London stores were selling the same item. All the little suitcases was also made out of cardboard.I decided to keep it. I also looked at buying a separate little suitcase for it , but I hadn’t enough time to have it delivered. Gave it as was. The recipient really loved it , it made her cry ! ( happy tears thankfully ) . The little bear is really lovely and soft , and is a lovely keepsake .I just think the case lets it down and wished for the price the makers had made the suitcase better quality.

Definitely value for money! One of many I have bought as gifts. Suitable for most age ranges. Will buy again.

The bear was a little bigger than I thought but I didn’t look at the measurements. I bought him to replace a smaller one that had gotten lost. I told my kid that the bear just grew, he’d been gone about 6 months. My son loves him and the little suitcase is just a really nice tough and handy for toting the bear around.

Ormai non so quanti orsetti Steiff ho acquistato e la qualità è sempre eccellenti. Belli, morbidi, a prova di bambino, lavabili in lavatrice e indistruttibili.In assoluto la ferrari dei teddy bear.
