#8 x 1" is exactly what Screen Tight calls for installation of the base.These screws are very sharp with well formed threads.The head recess fits any phillips bit well and the enclosed double end bit is quite good for a freeby.These drive easily with a 12V drill-driver in pressure treated southern yellow pine.I did use an impact driver at first and the screws stood up to it without issue.These screws are so sharp, I didn't need the impact.

A quality product with quick delivery.

I needed to repair some vinyl siding and I prefer to use screws rather than nails (much easier to remove when I screw up). However I do not want the fasteners to corrode under the siding if they get wet.This vendor actually identified the type of Stainless Steel (type 410) used to manufacture the screws (and yes it is magnetic).The thing to note in my picture is the three letters in the center of bit: "PH2". These screws need a #2 Philips driver. In General #2 Phillips head screwdrivers fits screw numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.I do wish that these were available for a torx driver. Phillips screw heads ALWAYS strip out eventually.

Worked great. Strong and durable however the included bit did not hold up well.

I use them in making four barndoors , they look great.

In response to the other reviewers claiming these aren't stainless because they are magnetic, these are Type 410 stainless which will be strongly magnetic. Perhaps folks should learn a bit about metallurgy before making claims? Either way, good quality fasteners from what I've used so far.

These screws were as described, well packed, priced right and delivered next day. An unbeatable combination.
