Well, this is an original Dell battery and as such high quality. The product keeps it promises and the laptop detects it as an original Dell item.

Dell Battery for Dell Latitude E5430
I purchased the above as a replacement battery. First thing I noticed was the shoddy packaging. It did not come in a box but in a plastic packet. No other information was provided. I thought that this being advertised as an original Dell battery, that the product would have better packaging. Furthermore the replacement battery was 60Wh, whereas the original battery I was replacing was 65Wh. Nevertheless, it was advertised as being the correct replacement battery for this laptop. I then inserted the battery and when I tried to turn it on, nothing was happening. Usually when a battery is sold, there is some charge, but this had no charge. I then tried to charge it up but the battery isn't charging. I say isn't because I still have it although I have notified the seller that I wish to return the item. I also stated that I should not have to pay for postage given that it was a defective item. I am now waiting for a response. At £75 I feel I have been duped. I have since returned the product, which was delivered to the sellers on 3 August 2021 but I have yet to receive my refund.
