Very good bird guide
Beautiful illustrations making it easy to identify birds. Well printed and stood up to rigours of our safari. Highly recommended.

Good for a quick identification.
Very good quick guide to the diverse bird life, if you are a keen ornithologist buy a bigger bird book. Lots of the birds we saw were not in it.

A bird guide that's definitely on a diet.
This was basically a welconstructed pamphlet. This was not a surprise, I have used similar guides before. It contains the common birds of the area, don't expect too much. It opens out into 10 panels of coloured images and very brief descriptions of each bird.I'm happy to take this with me on days out. Is it a comprehensive guide, no, it never claimed to be.

I expected more, but it is lovely!
It's a useful guide for beginners and novices- I'm quite advanced and I expected more for the price. However, it's a lovely little fold out to use whilst out in the field instead of carrying a book :)
