Wow! Even better than I had hoped
I love this cymbal! It’s got great tone and compliments my smaller, brighter one well. Work cymbal costs getting crazy high, this is a great competitor, as you get a high quality sound for half the price.

My son needed some cymbals replaced. He already had the 18" s dark, but this set was a great value as opposed to buying them one at a time.

The sound I was looking for
Other cymbals I tried sounded like metal trash cans lids, these actually sound like cymbals.

Low Tones, Fast Decay
The ride is nice; it pings consistently. Both crashes are light enough to get a full crash without much striking power. 16" crash is a good main crash. 18" crash is low and dies quickly. Main con: the edges of the cymbals are not rounded. They'll nick and tear up sticks more than other cymbals I've used, and the post holes of the crashes have chewed through the post sleeves after a week of moderate play. I fixed this by lightly sanding the edges with 800-grit sandpaper.

Surprise for my boyfriend for Christmas!! He loves it and uses it all the TIME!
