This works really well as long as the mango is not too big. Very easy to use, I have arthritis in my hands but I found it easy to handle.

Why do you need a mango pitter? The answer is that it works! If you like mangos, then you know the hassle it is to prepare them. This potter cleanly slices the mango into three sections- two ready to serve and the third with the seed. You can eat the little bit of flesh that comes off with the seed as a chef's treat, but there is surprisingly little. The main sections are neatly presented and are ready to be hedgehogged, or sliced off. So the potter saves waste with the mango, prevents the risk of slicing your fingers when trying to use a knife to cut out the seed, and leaves you with perfect portions to serve. Highly recommended if you eat mangos on a regular basis.

Mango cutters have a standard design and are all rather similar. One needs quality steel to keep it's edge in a decent sized frame which is easy to clean or dish washer proof. Manufacturers haven't kept up with todays outsized fruit. This cutter is hardly big enough.

This product was excellent for the first 5or so times I used it.... Then it broke
