Professional Beauty Therapy: Level 3

Great book. Very helpful

As a Lecturer of Beauty Therapy I can highly recommend this book as a thorough and knowledgeable reference guide both for planning lessons and for students following the City and Guilds NVQ3 Beauty Therapy path. I have met Lorraine Nordmann (an External Verifier for City and Guilds) whilst I was assessing students; and found her to be both exacting and well-informed. As with the Level 2 Beauty Therapy book written by the same author; this book matches the teaching standards perfectly and so is ideal for students and Lecturers alike. Again, there are clear learning objectives in all sections; and one particular outstanding feature is the `expanded treatment advice' to make the most of retail opportunities and the `timings of treatments' guidelines. Any lecturer of Beauty Therapy will understand that the importance of timing treatments; and that it is usually one of the hardest skills for students to initially master; but one that is essential to overcome if salon treatments are to become commercially viable and profitable.

This book is great for my college course, it tells me more then what I need which is great because when doing my exams I understand what questions are being asked. It's great for when i need to remember certain things I can look it up in my book. It's set out into different sections that are colour coded and it's easy to find what you need and look through. Great book definitely recommend to any person doing a beauty course.

Was recommended this book my a colege tutor and i was slightly reluctant to buy it just incase i didnt like it or it wasnt what i was after. But it's a great book and definately helpful with everything on my course! It's a no brainer in my opinion, great for a college student or if you just need a little refresh! :)

This has been my bible throughout my Level 3 massage course and I would highly recommend. It's a little expensive but worth it because of all the information it holds to help you complete assignments and handy tips, research and info.
