Good watch. Got it after my Seiko strap gave up (again) having spent more than £50 repairing my old watch over the years, I just wanted something that worked all the time and had no issues with battery changes and repairs. This watch is sturdy and has a large bold face and analogue feel with all the benefits of a digital watch (which technically it is). The digital display is small though so really it is for those who like reading the hands, not the digital display. The no battery thing is great. Looking forward to not having to change it - ever - with luck. The strap is plastic/rubber but has been designed with some springy give near the face which will prevent it stressing the joint at the watch face as much as happened with my last metal Seiko watch meaning the strap and hinges needed to be replaced every few years after normal wear an tear. Sounds sad, but the best bit was setting the digital watch for the first time and then seeing the watch hands calibrate themselves automatically to the digital readout time...read the little instruction booklet when you first set it up and you'll do fine. After that it is fairly intuitive to use. Top marks. Good product. If you chainsaw with a watch cough up for a G-shock...this one is not designed for the vibration...I took mine off - which is the cheaper option ! On price. This is Bargain. Got it for £29 from an Amazon seller - half the price I spent repairing my hold watch...why do anything else?

A brilliant bang-for-buck watch, with a G-Shock look (but not the feel) for half the price. Speaking of feel, this is the only downside of the watch, it feels cheap. More so the plastic strap is the weakest link, but can be easily changed. Being a solar watch, you will need to take it out in the sun at least a couple of days in a month. I personally wear it only once a week, the rest of the time staying in a closed box, I dod not manage to bring the battery level down from HIGH. The LED light only lights up the LCD display, not the whole back, but that is normal given the fact that it`s solar and the low price. The lume on the hands and number is typical cheap Casio lume, bad. Easy to set-up, no crown here, the indicators are controlled by a small motor so once you set-up the digital time, the analog time follows. The minute indicator moves once every 20 seconds and there i no seconds indicator. Overall it`s a great watch for the price, but don`t expect a premium feel from it. I bought it for the looks and the fact that it`s a Gshock, without a Gshock price. Be careful though, it is BIG!

Yes it is a nice Solar watch. Should be very low on cost in terms of replacement batteries because it is powered from the Sun - which hopefully will be with us for some time to come! The face is clear and the luminous dials can be seen at night. It is very light as other people have noticed and that is not to the liking of all men. I myself like a really good solid and heavy watch like my Casio G Shock Rangeman - but that is a lot more expensive. For the price, this is really as good as it gets for Solar watches. One point I must mention however is that I am not quite sure how long the rubber/plastic strap will last. It is certainly a lot more flimsy than my Rangeman and I suspect it may not last for many years. But for a cheap good looking accurate and (I keep saying it) Solar watch this is probably the best!

Great Watch! Still running today. Not hard to setup but you will have to read the instructions, it just makes it that much easier, up to you. This is a very hard wearing watch and has/is serving me well today. I haven't had to repair anything which is a first. The writing on the face of the watch has long since disappeared but that's it. The watch has many functions. Changing time can be done by time zone or manually. I prefer manually as daylight saving is not allow for in my experience. After you set the time digitally the hands move accordingly. Stop watch, yeap stop go carry on reset, perfect Timer, I have a watch so i never use this. Alarm, I get up in the morning and put on my watch so I don't use this. Turned it on once by accident didn't realise what was making that annoying little beeping sound, ahh my watch. World time, Great if you want to find out where in the world you could be sleeping right now. You have to set this to a city ie, RIO, HKG. Once again this will not allow for daylight saving. All in all this is a great watch that keeps accurate time. Ordered on 1 September 2013

I recently bought this watch as a tidy replacement for an older one of these with grey numbers. Tidy because this new one looks new and presentable , whereas the old one looks like its been through a cement mill ( not far from the truth). It is so durable it shrugs off all that I've thrown at it without for at least 6 years. Every bit as good as a G-Shock but lighter not as thick. Much of the front plastic casing has worn away,the glass has scratched but not broken and it has a newer strap and the pins drilled out to use paper clips instead. This is amazing considering it's brutal treatment. Of all the watches I've tried it's also the most comfortable to wear and keeps the best time. Solar charge means it will not need a battery change. The only negative point to Casio is the way they display the date, moth number, day number and seconds, another choice if day Mon, Tue etc and seconds. This is not logical and a little confusing particularly if you are accustomed to day, month year format. Other than the date display there is nothing to detract from the watch. Highly recommended if you want a reasonably priced watch that will endure a hard life. My old one will still carry on doing sterling work while i'm repairing cement packing machines.

Diese tolle Casio-Uhr erfüllt all meine Anforderung. Ein großes Gehäuse mit sehr gut ablesbaren fluroszierende Ziffern und Zeigern, die bei Dunkelheit leuchten. Das XL-Design wirkt wuchtig, massiv und hochwertig. Die Uhr ist Robust, lässt sich trotzdem leicht am Armgelenk zu tragen und sieht super sportlich aus. Das Einstellen ist Babyeinfach, denn die digitale Anzeige und die Zeiger synchronisieren sich selbstständig. Eine Solarzelle erübrigt einen Batteriewechsel. Was mir aufgefallen ist und zu verbessern wäre: Casio hätte die fünf Balken rechts neben dem Display anstatt der Sekunden für den Ladezustand des Akkus verwenden können. Wäre praktischer gewesen, da die Sekunden gleich daneben sowieso Digital angezeigt werden. Trotzdem .. alles in Allem: Tolle Uhr zu einem günstigen Preis die NICHT 0815 aussieht.

El reloj es bonito, tiene un tamaño perfecto y las cifras se leen bien. La parte digital, aunque es un poco pequeña se ve también bien (aunque lo principal es que un reloj analógico, lo otro es más bien un complemento). Creo que es más fácil de operar y configurar que otros Casio que tengo. La correa es buena y no molesta o irritada la piel. Es un reloj con todas las funciones más comunes y la ventaja de la carga solar. El precio me parece correcto (yo pagué 49€). Lo volvería a comprar.

La montre est légère, style G-Shock. Les aiguilles et les chiffres 12-3-6-9 sont légèrement fluorescents dans l'obscurité. De jour, le cadran est très lisible. Les chiffres numériques sont petits mais lisibles. Le réglage est relativement facile grâce à la notice d'emploi très claire et en plusieurs langues dont le français. Le rétro éclairage est juste pour la fenêtre numérique. Malgré l'apparence, la montre est légère et le bracelet en plastique est très souple. Qualité Casio, donc pas de souci. Par contre, la montre est expédiée dans une enveloppe craft froissé. La boîte est déchirée, la montre est sortie de son sachet et présente des traces de doigt. A ce sujet, je suis très déçu. A savoir le vendeur n'est pas Amazon mais un marchand partenaire.
