Pokit Pro All-in-one Multimeter, Oscilloscope and Logger CATIII 600V 10A (Classic Gray with Slate)

I have used the Pokit Pro for several applications and I'm pleased with it.I have used the ohmmeter, multimeter and oscilloscope functions to measure resistance, voltage, current and waveforms from DC to 100kHz with the Pokit app on a Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone.With an external audio waveform generator I measured capacitor equivalent series Resistance (ESR).The Pokit Pro is superior to the Pokit Meter. I could not use my Pokit Meter for all these measurements.I look forward to future app enhancements to add automatic and manual vertical and horizontal cursors to measure voltage, frequency and period. Spectrum analyzer and Fast Fourier Transform features would be great additions. An arbitrary waveform generator would be a spectacular addition.I used third-party adaptors to connect to electronic components. The included clips are more suited for mains work.So far I am pleased with the Pokit Pro.

Don't know if mine came from the manufacturer or not. Amazon needs to stop allowing sellers to sell used or broken products. Mine came with a blown fuse. Otherwise it works as expected.

If I had to do it again, I would buy a conventional multimeter.

Of the several meters and pocket scopes I have, this is the most handy and a surprisingly capable one. I'm impressed with the versatility built into this small package. I have purchased 3 of these and all have failed within a few weeks or months. The failure is that the probe stops picking up any signal from anything that you attempt to test, or the unit simply doesn't turn on anymore despite proper charging (I tried everything).It's such a shame because there is such great potential with this product. I loved the idea of it that I bought 3 in hopes that one would work, but they all failed eventually.

Mostly I use it as a regular multi-meter but occasionally I have remotely monitored a circuit where I could not insert a regular meter.

I bought mine on the kick starter and was at a somewhat reasonable price but no where near worth $250. I like that they added smart watch app, still requires your phone but at least I don’t have to look over at the phone and can see my watch. The leads are limited length and built into the device so once those wear out you’re in trouble. Fuses blow pretty easy and seems to be a non standard size. Get them 3rd party as they over charge for theirs. Just make sure the voltage rating is as high or higher than their specs and has same amps. It is not terrible accurate and as of date no way to calibrate it other than the ambient temp sensor. Logging feature is nice. Scope is only good for slow transients as it’s about 100khz sample speed. If I was going to spend 250 on a dmm then this is not in the list. If you already have good meters and want a cute gadget with some money to burn then it’s neat
