I wanted Ubiquinol because it is the active form of Co Q10.The thing to bear in mind is that Ubiquinol is much better absorbed with fats or oils, so it's worth taking it in conjunction with these kinds of food items.It is also important to Kaneka Ubiquinol, the best form of it.I say they seems to be doing the job because the effect of Ubiquinol may not be obvious to people considering it plays a key role in the production of cellular energy in your body, this becomes less efficient the older we get.Ubiquinol helps every organ in your body and helps to prevent damage caused by oxidative stress, and gives your organs energy to function properly.I say the above as some people might think it's doing nothing, but if a supplement works on a cellular level, the results may not be obvious.I will continue to take Ubiquinol as I value energy being provided to my cells, and considering I am in my mid 40's.

June 2018: An amazing life saver. Along with high dose Magnesium Citrate, this amazing pill at 400mg daily (2 caps twice daily) has been, remarkably, speedily healing my heart failure (ejection fraction 40%). My breathlessness disappeared within days and my energy levels improved simultaneously and gradually increased over time. Am feeling so much better compared to a few weeks ago when I could hardly move due to severe breathing difficulties.Addendum (19/12/2019: In my opinion, PQQ was unnecessary addition - out of curiosity, I tried PQQ, in addition, as suggested by the advert, but this gave me bad reactions after a few days' use.For me, PQQ didnt boost the power of the Ubiquinol!I've been using this Ubiquinol brand for over a year now and I am thriving very well, along with my Pacemaker's help, on reduced dose of 100mg twice daily. I am not on any prescribed meds.This supplement does work! I wouldnt try another brand!God is good! Alleluia!

Ubiquinol is a more absorbable form of Coenzyme Q10 due to its polarity, so the science makes sense to take this version of Co Q10. This added absorption makes it more expensive than regular Co Q10. Co Q10 is often described as the "spark plug" of cells, so many people find they have extra energy when supplementing this nutrient. That's why it's probably worth a try if you suffer from fibromyalgia, CFS or other energy deficient conditions.I took this for a few months and to be honest didn't feel any different. I didn't really like the bright red colour of the capsule, made it feel too "unnatural" for my liking, but I'm probably just being fussy.I recently had a micronutrient test that showed that I have a good level of Coenzyme Q10 in my cells, so maybe it does absorb well but I didn't feel the difference.Maybe would work well for someone deficient in Co Q10.

Came in very early. I find these good but still fairly pricey for the amount and dose you get. This is not for pain relief.
