if you wanna cuddle be prepared for a bit of contorting to get comfy (which you still probably won’t be, there’s not very much space) The futon isn’t very comfortable for extended sleeping periods. It’s not particularly comfortable to sit on either 😅Putting it together required a bit of strength and 2 parties to keep the couch in place while the other tries to get the screw in (they were pretty short). The armrests are super fragile, they’re separate so you slide them into the couch. they haven’t broken yet but sometimes we’ll put our weight on them and hear concerning sounds (not sure if it’s the sound of splintering wood or the tension on the little metal attachments). I like the color though ^.^All in all we’ve learned that there’s some things you can skimp on to save money but a couch is not one of them

personally I appreciate firm mattresses and furniture in general. With that being said, I would not recommend this couch/futon to someone who is elderly due to its firmness and that it is low to the ground. I would also not recommend it to someone who has back/spinal issues for sleeping or long term use.I really love the color and texture of the fabric, the shape, and height off of the ground, and the simple reclining function. The way that the couch reclines is by pushing the back of the couch forward to release it, and then it will click in place at multiple places the back of the couch is also divided in to two sections, which I quite like. but when you are reclining, you will do them both separately.the couch will not sit all the way against the wall because there is a lip that hangs out from the back (this is support for when it is a futon)that lip is not fully covered with the couch's fabric but instead the thin black fabric from under the couch.for assembly, you will receive 2 halves of this couch. they interlock by metal brackets which are loose, but will become tightened when you screw on the middle legs of the couch. the 4 holes are divided between the two couch pieces to the legs kind o hold the whole thing together.I am planning to modify my own by cutting the fabric under the couch to screw the two couch halves together to make it sturdier in the long run.now, as far as sleeping on this.I have slept on it with nothing additional in-between me and this couch. It was not horrible, but not something that should be done multiple nights in a row, but I did actually purchase this as a bed alternative for my self for when I move in to an apartment.This issue was easily modified by getting a twin size memory foam bed topping, and a twin size padded fitted sheet. the couch will actually work pretty well with a fitted sheet and it stays in place. 100% more comfortable for sleeping, and the additional paddings can be rolled up and put away during the day. I am 5'6" and my head to toes fit perfectly on it laying down.as far as a regular couch, the cushions seem to get a little softer with use, and i think it is the most comfortable slightly reclined. it is definitely comfy enough to snuggle with a blanket on, if you are void of the expectation to have an absolute plush couch.My style is very minimalist and multiple functionality is of high importance to me, so this really did hit every mark for me.I hope this can help you decide if it will for you too!

Love the color and keeping it. Not easy to put together.

I love this couch. I was looking for mid century style and they do get pretty pricy. While I don't mind if the couch would last but having two cats and a dog I did not want to spend $800 to have it damaged in couple of weeks. I have to say this couch delivers. It is so cute in person, just like the photo. The color is way more green in person but I love it! I like the green shade sooo much better. We do use it a lot and daily and not convinced that foam pillows will last for years to come. But hey, It really was not that expensive. I have slept on it couple of times with my little kid and it was not too bad. I am 5.4 and the size is perfect. If you are much taller perhaps this one is not for you. And I have seen my cats trying to sharpen their claws on it, but the fabric holds with no signs of pulled threads!It is truly an awesome little stylish couch. Totally recommend it. And if in couple of years it gets damaged, I might consider repurchasing if it is still available.

The media could not be loaded.  I love that the couch was delivered to me (I live on the third floor of my apartment building.) Assembly was a lot easier than I expected, though I did use an electric screw driver. The couch itself does feel small, and isn’t a plush or cushy sort of couch. I have slept on it, but feel that I would use a mattress topper if I were to sleep on it again. I’m not tall, but I’m not short. However, I feel that this couch is perfect for my size and for someone who lives alone. For the price and convenience, I think this couch is a great value. I have plopped myself in this couch more than a few times, and found the couch to be sturdy. I feel that the color is more green than blue in person, when compared to the photo of the product. But I still love the overall look.

Replaced entertainment chairs in RV with this. What no one tells you, it comes in 2 pieces! Fit into RV door easily. When you get it, take Allen wrench down to Lowe’s or home depot and get a socket driver that fits the Allen wrench. You simply cannot get it screwed together tight enough with Allen wrench. Other than that, it’s sturdy once it’s tightened good. It’s small. But that’s what we wanted for RV. Does not move at all during tow.

Overall as expected on the picture, but would be helpful to see a picture ahead of time if the back of the sofa. The top part of the sofa doesn’t stay close to the wall because of the gap of the sitting part.
