Great easy to install replacement, much cheaper than a new bin!

Perfect fit, great quality and much cheaper. Really pleased with the price and delivery, would recommend seller.

These are a little different in construction from the original but looked ok. The problem was that when inserted into the bin it stopped latching. I pulled it out again and used a bit of silicone spray on it and tried inserting it rotated 180 degrees. Second time lucky it seemed to work a lot better. Been ok since.

This catch fit perfectly and saved me a ton of money. Thought I would have to buy another lid and I’ve even got a spare. Brilliant . Would highly recommend

Failed, not enough grip in the spring. Useless

Pelican Ocean Ltd supplied the 2 Brabantia bin catches in secure packaging and I received them within a few days of placing the order. Fitting a new catch is a bit fiddly, but well worth the effort as the cost of a replacement lid is extortionate. Judging by the number of people needing to replace the catches, it is obvious the design of the catch was faulty and far too weak for purpose. Considering the high cost of these bins, it seems inexcusable that Brabantia do not supply free replacement lids. When I bought mine it had I believe a 'l10 year guarantee' unfortunately after 5 years receipts often become unreadable as the inks fade, and one is then left with no proof of purchase.

The bin lid now works .just not as good as before

Brabantia bin top stopped closing. Instead of buying a new top/bin, bought a new catch having worked out which one by looking at the photos.Ordered it on Wednesday, arrived in the post Friday, took about 10 seconds to fit.Good service and saved money.
