Best SAO title to date
Received item on release date and excellent service. Once again Bandai Namco brings the next highly anticipated SAO game to the PS4 & PSVITA. This game is the third installment and continuation fromSAO: Hollow Fragment and SAO: Lost Song.I must confirm Hollow Realization is by far the most intensely addictive and well produced installment to the series up to date and is a huge step up to the previous releases.I would gladly go more in depth with the review however I'm still to early and fresh in the game to comment further. This is a must buy for hardcore SAO fans and a good place to start for newcomers as the plot for the previous titles are explained through the cutscenes and In-Game.

Nice game but look very empty after the story mode ...
Nice game but look very empty after the story mode and with all the problem i had with the previous update i wasn't able to play the game because of a bug who didn't let me get access at the end of the first dungeon.

Worth a go
I love me some SA:O. It's such a compelling game and any game that has an opening sequence gets an A+ in my book but what makes this game feature is the feel. Even when playing alone you get such MMO feel. There are loads of characters that you can just talk to randomly and team up. You can sit down and just enjoy the view. They also added a party feature when fighting bosses which was awesome. I'm not loving the story as much as Lost Song but that's just my personal preference. I would highly recommend this game to SA:O fans and RPGers tbh 👌🏻

Not what your gonna be used to.
I've played hollow fragment and lost song and they were good games, hollow fragment felt like a proper mmo rpg style game to play, essentially with item's and attack's set into "Hot key's" I think they are called (not a pc gamer) or whatever you call the buttons that let you use thing's quicker and lost song being a more action oriented version of the game with less depth granted but you could fly and it looked darn good too but hollow realization takes hollow fragment and then tries to combine it with lost song only to make!!...one big mess -_- sure it look's great graphically but it's a nightmare to play, attack's depending on what weapons you use lock you into a very slow attack which leaves you very vulnerable, even after the attack connects, it forces the player to slow down in a game that want's you to react fast and anyone who want's to use a medium sized weapon or above (in my case the katana) your gonna have a pretty bad time. That said it's not all trash, the level and monster design is great and they do get some throwback's to hollow fragment right at least but overall unless your a super fan I wouldn't think this game is great, just okay dood.

A must have for SAO fans
I haven't played the previous 2 series so I can't comment about improvements. But I can say that I haven't been hooked onto a console game in a long time. It's very addictive and enjoyable to play if you're an anime fan (especially if SAO). Only downside is the lack of combat aggressiveness from the enemies and quest progress is kinda confusing at times so you'll need to have a phone or laptop beside you searching up guides and helps from other people. Amazon had a sudden price drop on dispatch day so those who preordered luckily got the game for £24.99 (£23.64 with Prime discount)

Decent
Fun game ... however the graphics aren't great, and the game is very repetitive and gets boring quickly. If you are a fan of the anime you will probably enjoy the fact that you re-meet some of the characters. Slow storyline.
