New & different
These are like nothing I have ever tasted before. There is definitely menthol in there but this I would say is a sub-flavour, it is not dominant at all like some Menthol products can be. I would guess it is maybe 25% of the flavour. The most dominant flavour is what I assume is the Ginseng. But here I confess I don't have a lot of experience tasting Ginseng products so I can't quite put my finger on it. The sweets are hard-boiled and long-lasting (assuming you don't crunch them!). They come individually wrapped too which is a nice touch.I'm not sure they're for everyone, they're probably an acquired taste. I look forward to sharing them with my family over the forthcoming festive period and to see what they think about them. If you are an adventurous sweet-trier you may be better off getting a smaller pack first to try them out. If you are Korean or have tried these before then best of luck to you, if you know what you're getting then I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Unique and different flavour
I was keen to try these Korean sweets as I have never tried Korean sweets before. They arrived in a pack full of individually wrapped sweets. They are hard-boiled type of sweets. I really like the flavour as they are not sickly sweet and have a minty taste with a hint of ginseng. After a little bit of research, I found out that Korean red ginseng is great for improving immunity, improving fatigue, improving blood circulation enhancing memory and antioxidation. So these will be great for the winter flu season. Love that they come individually wrapped so you can easily pop some in your handbag or pocket for the on-the-go.Overall, these are quite nice and do recommend them if you want to try Korean sweets.

Not For Me
Reviewing these purely from a personal perspective to say that the flavor profile was not for me. The candy is quite sugary, so the taste was both sweet and strongly medicinal. Ultimately, I simply did not enjoy the experience of trying these out. That said, they're standard hard candy in every other regard and will eventually melt in your mouth, so there's nothing wrong with them per se. I would just be particularly wary of sharing these with others as I feel like they're more of an acquired taste either way.

Pleasant taste
Each sweet in individually wrapped, and the sweet itself is a small oblong and deep red in colour. The taste starts off somewhat earthy and soon you get the real taste starts to come out, which I consider to be mild and my 8 year does not appreciate, I think my daughter describes the taste as a bit like coca cola.I do quite like these, they quite pleasant, with a earthy coca-cola type taste, and when finished there is no real lingering taste.

Strangely addictive and well worth trying
I’ve heard lots of good things about ginseng and these boiled sweets are a good way to get a daily dose. They are quite an acquired taste. My first impression was of something very earthy but it changed into a more herbal taste after a few sucks. The menthol is nice but not too overpowering and it takes the edge off the earthy taste. The 200g pack contains 35 individually wrapped sweets so they are great to eat on the go. I think the price is reasonable (£10.99 at the time of review) and I’m happy to recommend these strangely addictive ginseng candies.

Lovely sweetness and warmth of ginger!
I've just tried this Korean Red Ginseng Menthol Candy, and I really love them! The taste is a perfect balance between sweet with a bit of heat from the ginger, that's not too overpowering. It's like your classic boiled sweet but with an asian twist. The menthol isn't too strong either; it complements the ginger nicely, giving a nice soothing sensation that's perfect for soothing a sore throat. The packaging, with its vibrant red and gold accents, really adds to the authentic feel. If you're a fan of ginger candies but don't want anything too intense, these are just right.

Lovely flavour.
These hard sweets have a lovely flavour and the packaging of them is different and attention catching as they are bright red. The sweets are boiled and last some time while you suck them or you can just crunch them. They actually have benefits for you and your immune system which is good.I would recommend them as they are something a little different.
