These are an excellent set for the home gardener,with all having very easy to use qualities having a extremely sharp cutting edges(keep away from kids) with from my experience with them true function for those typical gardening tasks, I feel personally that they will have a durable life span meaning your getting proper value for money ...highly recommended.

Very good product

The set itself is very good value and a few quid cheaper on here than a well known tool supplier. All of the tools feel sturdy and very sharp. I've personally never had a bad S&J tool so I'm also confident about longevity if tools are properly maintained. I bought the pack mainly for the loppers, which are unbelievably good if you're not used to having them. They sliced through 2 inch thick branches like a hot knife through butter. The best part is the handle extends and mechanism is well designed. You simply twist the handles outwards to release, extend/retract then twist them back with an effortless but solid and reassuring click.

Bought as Xmas present so not used ,looks good quality for money

Bought these when they were on offer and so far I can honestly say I'm glad I bought them. So much better than my old set and I wish I'd spent out a bit more on a set of these when i bought my original set. From the quality feel of these I suspect they'll last a good few years of average use. Easy to use and super sharp. Used to prune a large hedge, apple trees and other shrubs. Cut through the branches with ease including some which were the max size for the jaws. Loppers can be extended to reach high branches and this can be done easily with 1 hand. Just twist the wrist, slide out the handle and twist to lock. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one) is that the secateurs dont lock very well. Easily fixed with a strap if that's a major concern for you. Overall thoroughly recommend these and if they are on offer the price of all 3 items were the same as the long handled loppers.

Very sharp, good quality and comes in a nice little set

The tools look well constructed and after a quick go in the garden I am happy that they are 'up to the job', but I despair at how much packaging retailers use when shipping items especially items like these which could all have fitted into either one plastic bag (they arrived inside two large plastic bags, both of which were big enough for all the items) or else tagged to a cardboard backing like the secateurs. but to compound it, they arrived in a huge badly taped cardboard box, easily big enough to have 8 sets of the tolls inside and have room to spare, so much for retailers trying to help reduce waste especially plastic waste, so much for looking after the environment, and the irony that these are gardening tools which can help the environment makes me so cross.

Ich arbeite nun schon eine ganze Weile mit den Werkzeugen und bin nach wie vor begeistert. Scharf, stabil, präzise - so macht Gartenarbeit Spass. Alle Teile liegen sehr gut in der Hand. Bei diesem günstigen Preis, kann man über die Qualität nur staunen. Würde es sofort wieder kaufen, brauche ich aber nicht, da es nicht so aussieht, als würde ich in absehbarer Zukunft ein neues Set anschaffen müssen:-). Absolute Kaufempfehlung''
