Yankee Candle Signature Reed Diffuser, Midnight Jasmine, 88ml

These diffusers smelling fantastic, they are strong but not overwhelming. I turn the Reeds over when I think the smell is starting to Decrease on them. They last longer than the spheres but I do think they’re expensive. I would purchase for a gift for someone and would only purchase as a tear now and again for myself due to the price.

At a recent friends gathering we started to chat about reed diffusers and a friend mentioned they were great to use in bathrooms/loos to make them smell lovely. Having tried different toilet smellies in rim blocks, air freshners etc I thought I would try one. After browsing the web sites I came across the Yankee Candle collection and being a well known brand decided to order it. It was a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay but decided to go for quality over price. It arrived very quickly and packaged well. The lid was slightly difficult to open and feared I may spill it but once opened the smell and beauty of the bottle was worth it. I put it in my downstairs loo and am pleasantly surprised that each time the door is opened I am greeted with a suttle clean fragrance. I love people to use my loo now as they comment on the smell being so nice. Will be ordering another for the bathroom soon. I have marked this product down only because the lid was not that easy to remove otherwise it would of got top marks!

Apologies to the seller for not submitting a review earlier, for which no discourtesy was intended and I hope they were not offended.The main reason was I wanted to know how long the Yankee Candle Clean Cotton Reed Diffuser would last, and am happy to say that it gave three months of use. It provided a consistently fresh fragrance, which did not fade, even when it had just about finished. What I particularly liked was that it was pleasant and not at all overpowering.I note that other purchasers had encountered issues with removing the stopper from the bottle. I agree that this can be fiddly; however, if you slowly ease out the stopper, then rotate the bottle slightly and ease it out, continuing to do so until you have the bottle back at the point you started, this should be much easier. I hope this helps!I would, without hesitation, order this product again and from this seller. It was ordered on 10 August 2013 and arrived on 13 August 2013, which was well ahead of the estimated timescale of between 15 August 2013 and 19 August 2013. Thank you.

I have lots of Yankee candle products. Downstairs I have black cherry diffuser and plug in, bedroom I have lemon lavender reed diffuser and I have a wax melter and collection of candles and melts. I like to have different scent zones matched to room.This reed diffuser is in my bathroom which is very small. You can't smell it. When you put your nose to the reeds it smells a little and is a nice scent but it is just way, way too light a fragrance. Compared to the cherry which makes the whole of downstairs smell nice (even without the additional plug in) this just doesn't do anything.Worth noting, the lemon lavender one I got from a Yankee candle shop has the same issue so I think the fresher/lighter fragrances are just not strong like the fruit and musky scents.The bottle is pretty though and the oil doesn't evaporate quickly. May add some essential oils to the carrier liquid and see if can get some scent at least

These reviews can get a bit managled with all the different options, so to be clear I’m reviewing the Clean Cotton reed diffuser.The scent is ok. I was a little underwhelmed at first, but it’s fine. I’d probably go for something different if I buy another which I think speaks volumes.In terms of coverage, again, underwhelming. I’ve had it for a week and in my room which is 4m x 4m approx and I get the odd whiff of it every now and again. There is no danger of this being ‘too much’ for any visitors put it that way.One thing that did annoy me was the amount of glass at the bottom of the bottle, which obfuscates how much oil you’re actually getting. If you look at the picture notice where the reeds stop - that’s where the glass starts - about 15mm from the base. 88ml is all you get, and for the price I don’t think this is particularly good value.

I received this today, and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful packaging. This looks gorgeous enough to give as a gift. The bottle is absolutely beautiful, way better than I imagined. Fresh cut roses is one of my favourite Yankee scents, and this doesn't disappoint. Couldn't wait to get it out of the box and on display. The only reason I haven't given a 5 star rating is because I haven't had it out of the box long enough to see if it gives a strong enough smell for me yet. Highly recommend, am ordering more !!

I'd never smelled it before purchasing on Amazon (I was initially drawn to the bottle because the colours match my downstairs toilet).As many of the other reviews state, it's quite a sweet smell, almost candy-like, but quite subtle, not at all sickly. I'm relieved because it's a fair amount to pay for something I've never smelled before. I completely relied on other reviews and I'm glad I took the leap of faith. The bottle stopper is incredibly tight; no way any fragrance could leak and the bottle itself is very pretty (bigger than expected), and quite heavy, not not at all dedicate or fragile feeling. It can also be refilled.The room it's in is very small and this works perfectly, without being overpowering. As long as it has a long shelf life, I'll definitely be purchasing again.

I have a neat trick to get the top off! Try slotting two rulers under either side of the cap (this will take a bit of fiddling) then tilt them so they force the lid up a little. Once you've done that so the cap will stay up on its own, take the rulers out and wiggle the top off with your hand.This is much easier than just pulling!The scent itself is very refreshing - it smells slightly like watermelon, pink roses, gardenias and nutmeg, I think. It's a very pretty and light smell, perfect for the bedroom I share with my partner, since we're both rather girly girls.
