Absolutely wonderful little masking fluid pen, it makes it so easy to do tiny little dots (for snow fall etc) or anything else you need a fine detail for . Very easy to use , cost effective and with no apparent smell . It's very useful having the blue coloured fluid, it makes it easy to see where you have applied it .. it sticks beautifully to paper just remember to rub it off with your fingers NOT an eraser, or it will make holes or dents in your art work . Flows well , just the right consistency and stays where it's put, all round, excellent purchase !

I like the fact that this masking fluid can be applied to the page by squeezing the bottle (other types come in a pot and applying it ruins any brush that you use). Also this masking fluid is not smelly, unlike others that stink of ammonia. The only thing to be aware of is that it takes quite a long time to dry, so you need to be patient.

Great for what it is but not suitable for my purposes. I purchased this to aid in painting plastic models but it grips the plastic surface too strongly and comes off in small pieces. On paper it can off easily enough.

This masking pen is great. Compared to the bottle of masking fluid I normally use it is simple to use and does not get 'stuck' when trying to open top, unlike the pesky bottles where you get frustrated trying to unscrew a tightly closed top because the fluid gets stuck around rim even when you clean it before replacing the top. It also comes in blue or clear colour. So grateful my friend recommended this item. Good value too.

Wouldn't rub off

I just got this and tried it over both white watercolour paper and on paper that already had two layers of watercolour on it. It protected both beautifully. make sure to use a very thin layer. I placed a bit on a piece of plastic and dipped in it with an old brush. it dries fast so you have to work fast. it dries down transparent and blue. didn't damage my paper or the layers of paint underneath it

Works well and removes easily. I have taken off a point as it blocks up and you need to poke about with a pin to free it again. I keep the pin in the opening. Once you get any blockage out it runs freely again.

I liked that I received it so quickly. I will be using it in pictures I paint but it's too soon for me to have tried it yet. The good reviews I read made me decide to try it as two other brands of masking fluid have been disappointing in staining the paper or tearing it when I remove it.

El producto se aplica muy bien con la punta fina que lleva. Permite enmascaras zonas pequeñas. Al levantarlo, se me va el papel pero no tengo claro si por el papel o por el producto.

ペン型のマスキングインクの中では一番使いやすいと思います。又細くも有る程度の面で塗るのも初心者(絵画歴3年)の私でも比較的上手に出来ます。量がたっぷりなのも嬉しいです。

I used this masking fluid to block out parts of a mushroom painting so that I could later come back and finish details on white spots. The blue in the picture is the masking fluid. The fact that it comes in a rudimentary pen type of dispensing tool helped a lot! I still used my brush to spread it but it was much easier than it would normally be with masking fluid in a large container — especially because masking fluid dries quit quickly. The picture of the mushroom with white spots was taken right after I removed the masking fluid (I later painting in details on the white spots). The masking fluid came our very easily with a rubber.
