These chips are much more affordable and so you can increase the quantity to your progect at no extra cost! For a better look. I did my 500 sq ft garage and had enough to use 3oz per sq yd. I cut an old rice carton down so that it held just 3 oz when levelled off. Then painted 1 yd and sprinkled a carton full (3 oz) then painted the next section and repeated. I applied a seal coat on top to seal it in and provide hot tyre protection.

Worked great, just like the ones in the kits you get at the hardware store.

Mixed these with another kit, the blue really stands out and looks amazing. I get a lot of compliments on it, we have enough chips to do like 10 driveways

12.4 lb is MORE than enough for my 3 car garage 600sqft. I have over a half a box left.

Movers we're coming in 2 days so I needed more flakes quickly so I could do the floor before stuff went in the garage! I got it next day from when I ordered. It's not an exact color match to rust oleum brand flakes but when it's on the floor you cant tell, just pre mix so it all blends if using the kit. Definitely needed the extra flakes, the rust oleum kit does not come with enough to achieve the nice granite like look! Would purchase again if needed.

I thought this would be a great replacement for a popular brand garage kit (right). Nope! The colors are not as vibrant and the black is more of a charcoal (left). The pictures in the advertisement are true to the actual colors… but the description is not! The quality is also not as good. The flakes are thin and would not provide as much traction as other competitors. The packaging was great but the box did take a significant amount of damage. In the end, I was not able to use the product due to the significant disparity between the different colors.

Got this 12 lb bag of flakes for the price of 3.5 lbs at the local hardware store. This amount is plenty to do an oversized 2-car garage and is the exact same as the flakes sold in 1 lb packages. Highly recommend!
