Expensive but needed
Purchased the taps (see photos) but didn’t realise you needed this product. Bit of a kick in the teeth but purchased anyway. Great, well made product from Grohe but as you can’t see it once installed, you feel a little ripped off. Hopefully the taps will work for years to come!

Looks quality but was not compatible with my tap
This is definitely the type of product you should expect from Grohe. Solid brass construction and it looks like it is made to last. In the end I had to return it as it was not compatible with my tap. Don't let the "universal" title fool you. If you buy a joystick type concealed tap it will need a special concealed unit. Contact Grohe for reference, amazon does not stock it. Super customer service from Grohe.

Expensive but you get what you pay for!
We purchased this with the Grohe Eurodisc cosmopolitan tap. The tap is indeed very smooth and high quality and you can control the flow of water very well. We did not know we had to purchase this with the tap - it ended up being a very expensive tap but it is worth it!
