Lovely book for a 3 yr old who loves books.

Great Julia Davidson book again, told through enchanting, whimsical rhymes and excellent colourful illustrations. It’s about and ambitious dragon Zog that aims to be the best student in school. However he has several issues, like; roaring gets him a sore throat, during flying lessons he hits a tree and he tends to set his wings on fire with his own breath.. not great for an aspiring dragon.A mysterious brave girl pops up willing to patch him up. However in reality she is .. a certain princess (avoiding spoilers here) – you know, the one that is bored by royal life and that aims to become a doctor.. However she in turn is about to be rescued from dragons by Gadabout the Great, the knight. Oh dear what a situation.. this lady is facing some serious life choices as well. But rest assured, she passes the test brilliantly.So in short this is a great, entertaining story, with an great educational touch. But I must say the rhymes are not as universally fluent and memorable as Room on the Broom or Stickman.We bought this for our 4-year old son, however his 8–year old sister loves to listen-in or read it to him (with much passion!).
