Great stuff
This is a great silver cleaner. It comes as a thick brown paste with a sponge pad for cleaning. If you’re wanting some thing to just dip your silver in to remove the tarnish then this isn’t it. You dampen the sponge and wipe on a bit of the paste, then rub your silver item with the sponge. Sometimes the tarnish comes straight off even when it’s quite dark, sometimes it takes a bit of rubbing, I think it just depends on the atmosphere the silver has been kept in and how long it’s been since it was cleaned. I think the silver dip does have its uses but it can be quite harsh, and it’s no good if your piece has a decorative finish, I like using this foam for vintage items as you can just take some tarnish away without stripping all the character out. I have used it on silver and silver plated items and it works fine, it doesn’t damage the silver plate. If your item is a bit intricate then you might want to use a soft toothbrush to get into the nooks and crannies, then rinse well in water or you will be left with some polish residue. I have also used this on gold jewellery from 9ct to 22ct, which leaves a nice shine, and I’ve used it on jewellery containing stones such as diamonds, sapphire, garnet, turquoise, labradorite, cubic zirconia etc. it has never damaged anything and has always worked. If you’re cleaning a piece of jewellery and it’s not doing anything then it’s probably not real silver. I have cleaned 925 silver and slightly less pure 888/825/800 silver. You don’t get as much of a shine with lower qualities but it does still work. It isn’t designed for removing general dirt such as skin oils, hand creams and soap residue, you’ll want to use a different cleaner for that.

Works quite well for silver jewellery.
This Goddard's paste cleans silver and makes it brighter. I used it on my silver jewellery and it was very effective. However, the jewellery became dark again after sitting in the jewellery box for a while. The cleaning process itself was quite easy. There's a sponge in the jar which you wet a bit and apply the paste on your silver. There's some unpleasant chemical smell so it's better to work near an open window or outside. Also I advice to use gloves. Hope it helps.

Cleaned almost all of my jewelry beautifully
It would've helped if the supplier had not placed a sticky label over the instructions which, when removed, removed the writing underneath! However I looked up the product on the website and used the instructions from there. I used this to clean silver jewelry that had become tarnished. It was very easy to use and made a beautiful job of all my earings - see the picture of before & after of one pair. I also cleaned some bracelets and neck chains with it. These were not as easy to clean and one bracelet will need a second application as it didn't come up as well as everything else. An old toothbrush was helpful to brush awkward crevices. Despite the cleaner being fairly expensive for such a small pot I used very little ( on 5 chains, 3 bracelets and about 15 pairs of earings). I would think this will last for at least 20 applications of a similar amount of jewelry.
