Hydréa London Bamboo Carbonized Exfoliating Glove

These gloves look rather like winter woolly gloves on the illustration, but although they're slightly thicker than the cheap nylon exfoliating gloves, these aren't as thick as they look. They're quite silvery in colour, and are a good size - these will stretch to fit big, hairy handed 'sons of the soil' as well as us lesser mortals. Not being a molecular physicist, I can't even pretend to understand the 'scientific' twaddle on the promotional material, but what I can say about these gloves is that they do a super job of exfoliating skin in the shower or bath, giving you a really good clean and de-coke, and the scrub will give your circulation a boost. They're excellent for delicate skins, and can be used to exfoliate sensitive areas without abrading. The bamboo fibre construction is hardwearing and the gloves are well made - my fingers haven't poked through the material, and neither have the gloves developed holes or even begun to look unravelled or 'tired.' These gloves dry out fairly quickly after use, and the carbon used in the manufacturing process keeps them sweet and fresh. These are a good buy, and definitely worth the extra money, because these will still be in use long after pair after pair of the cheaper type have been binned. UPDATE: July 2017. These have been in regular use in the shower since this review was written, and they are still in perfect condition, no holes or pulled threads and still doing a fantastic job of scrubbing me clean without scratching or scouring my skin. Great gloves , which I use to wash my sphynxs with. They require a gentle exfoliate to remove their excess oils. These are perfect for them and not too harsh . I will be treating myself to a pair. Highly recommended

These gloves are the best for removing dead skin so that I can apply cream to the skin and not just on to dead flakes. This in turn relieves the itching as well. The gloves seem to be the ideal texture or remove the dead skin without damaging the rest of my skin. Will definitely buy these again.

I love theses gloves they feel rough at first but once wet they are perfectly comfortable and great to use , especially if you have psoriasis feels like you have fully washed proper cleansed and great and easy to use, good priced would highly recommend and would keep buying from Amazon because for great delivery as a prime member and finding theses so great works well then would keep buying in future reference

Great gloves and I use these once a week after going swimming, using the sauna and steam room. Don’t use on face as I actually rubbed my cheeks and they were bright red for a couple of days.

Other gloves I've tried did not have the stretch these have and so were made bigger. In use they mostly rolled around on my hand and did very little exfoliating. These fit exactly like a pair of ordinary woolen gloves, gently stretching to fit me perfectly and they stay put even when wet. Consequently they do a great job, they are not too abrasive but not too smooth either, which is ideal for my slightly sensitive skin. I'm pleased also that these are a natural product that can be used instead of creams and gels which can contain particles that cause havoc with marine life. I can scrub away with a clear conscience and get a better result too!

These look pretty scary on the picture, I thought a bit like gloves that might have been used by the poor workers who tried to fix the Chernobyl nuclear accident, reactor thing, my imagination! However they are when dry soft to touch, when wet lovely and wonderful against your face and lips which I use to help prevent my usual chapped lips successfully, they are strong, also I only have use of one hand so have to pull it on using my teeth no sign of fraying to date where all other have from day one Don't be put off by their industrial look in picture go for it
