Worth every penny
I used these sockets right out of the box on a rounded off mower blade bolt that I had spent a couple hours on the day before trying to remove it. These sockets never slipped or stripped the bolt any more. Removed the bolt in 30 seconds. These were an absolute life saver.

Not For Stainless
I tried to use these on a stainless bolt. It would not grip the bolt. Eventually I beat it on the head got a small turn until it slipped off and repeated. It took a good hour. These probably would work okay on a metal other than stainless.

DO NOT BUY!!
Very cheap quality metal. The metal is so soft that no matter what I try it on it will strip. Not only the tool but the bolt you're trying to get out. Tried on multiple kinds of bolts. Regular, rim locks. Stripped everything I tried it on.DO NOT BUY, it will only make the job you're working on harder. EXTREMELY HARDER!!

i HAVE USED PLENTY OF 12PT EXTRACTORS AND SOCKETS,But came across a very in depth comparison test between 12pt and 6pt socets spanners and extractors, the 6pt were on adverage 70% more effiiant than the 12pts,.which all slipped and lost grip rounded of far far easier than the 6pt superior versions.this product is perfect and lives upto the test results, all in all even though they are seriuosly cheap to purchase her, their quality is outstanding and a great addition to everyones tool box diversity ...BUY now you will not regret it for even a second...HTH

Use a hammer and a socket extension to drive these
Once I got the extractor to grab the bolt head, I was able to get it out.Not just a few light taps either.
