This is my first time buying anything from Ninja I have had a Kuerig for a long time but couldn't get a strong cup of coffee. So I tried a Tinana brand Espresso machine but it still didn't produce a very good espresso no matter what I did. I saw this an decided to give it a try an I am very happy to finally find a coffee machine that can give me both a strong cup of coffee and a strong cup of espresso in the same machine. The only problem I had when first using this Unit was when I tried to make a pot of coffee using the paper filters it came with because I thought I had a defective machine when I found water coming from underneath but it was overflow from the filter even though I used only the amount of coffee it said in the instructions. The filters were only good for a cup of coffee not a pot of it which is why I think a lot of reviews about it leaking water is because of the filters it comes with. I have bought some reusable filters that work great with this on this site I would definitely recommend this system to everyone it is definitely worth the money spent I will update later if anything changes. I have been using the Reusable Filters an have not had anymore water leaking from the bottom of the machine. I have tried everything that this machine does an it has been an excellent machine I finally have a machine that produces a strong pot of coffee an single cups an espresso. I have ordered the Bluecup refillable espresso pod starter kit so I can use my own coffee to make espresso because the non refillable ones are getting expensive. I will update once I receive them an tried them. Update: I got the Bluecup refillable an they work great with this machine I have been using them all the time an are able to get a strong espresso cup of coffee an I have been saving alot of money making my own lattes an other coffee drinks. So buy this one it's a good investment. Update: This machine is still working as good as the day I got it I have had no problems with it. It is going on a year this coming April and it is working just as good as the day I got it I have made multiple pots of coffee an I have made numerous Lattes and Capuchinos an everything has been nice an hot. I have bought reusable pods an filters an there has not been any problem using them. I use this machine multiple times each day an every time it has performed beyond expectations I highly recommend this system an will someday if needed buy another one. Also I use filtered water in it at all times which maybe why it is still going strong.

You know those notes that companies put in their packaging to encourage us not to return the item, but to contact them first? Here's how that's going. I purchased the Ninja Espresso & Coffee Maker & Barista System on 3/6/25 and it was received the next day (good job Amazon!) I followed the instructions on how to begin using the device, and unfortunately, immediately noticed a leak under the unit. I later found that when the water tank was attached, it would leak. Regardless of whether the unit was on or off - if the tank had water in it and was attached, it would begin leaking. My first thought was return it to Amazon .. but then I thought, you know .. I really like this machine. It makes a good cup .. and I've heard that Ninja's customer service is good, so I'll call the toll free number to get that process going. Customer service was quick and friendly and told me I'd be receiving an email with a FedEx label for returning my leaky unit. A day or two later, the email arrived and I sent it on it's way. That was on 3/19/25. It arrived in CA on 3/27/25. On the initial customer service call, I was told that once my unit had been received, they would be shipping out a new one. On 3/28/25 and after I saw that the package had arrived, I called customer support (who again was very nice) and I asked them to please check on the status of the order, as I'd not seen any updates on their website. The rep I spoke to put me on hold a few times but came back and said they'd spoken to a manager and would expedite the order. It is now 10 days after that contact, and I've still not received my coffee maker or seen an update on the order. It's this kind of 'dropping the ball' that makes people not want to deal with going through customer service .. but just sending it back to Amazon, which I could've easily done. So, if you're looking for a good coffee maker and want to try the Shark Ninja products, be forewarned you may get a leaky coffee maker. And if you do, I cannot recommend that you contact Ninja customer service, but just return it to Amazon - and please note the defect so that it does not enter the market again and cause someone else the frustration.

i got it for my boyfriend cause the one he had was old and ugly and i wanted something that he would like and i would like seeing and he absolutely loves it after a year something happen to it not sure what but we thinking it short circuited when the wall outlet it was plugged into short-circuited and had to be fixed but it stopped working and within 10 minutes on the phone with them i cut the cord and they sent a brand new one amazing product amazing customer service im strictly using ninja

We were looking for a system that had both Nespresso pods and a coffee maker. Overall, this does the job. One small issue is that the pods can get stuck every now and again. Also, for some reason, where the pods get dispensed... it runs water through it to clean it but the water collects in the cup tray an in the empty pod container and it can start really making a mess if you do not clean this out daily. If you are brewing coffee in the pot and then someone wants to make an espresso drink... it will shut off the coffee pot side mid-brew. The frother is really nice and does a great job. Overall it is a good machine but the water situation that collects in the pod dispense container is the only nuisance. We bought this after having a K-cup system for years, but I think we might go back to the K-Cup just based on the stores all having all kinds of varieties of K-cups and now they also have a Coffee Pot/K-Cup combo that I might switch to.

If you have owned a Ninja Coffee Maker in the past you might be disappointed in the quality build of the machine components. My past Ninja Coffee Makers have always felt well built. The water reservoir on my old machine was heavy duty, and I would remove it and fill it up in the water dispenser on the refrigerator. The one on this machine is made of very thin plastic and it is behind the machine, so I fill it with a cup and take it off to clean it every few days. I did not want to take the risk of cracking it. This machine feels cheap, BUT it makes good coffee and the Espresso is a game changer for me. I yet to have an issue with the Espresso pods including using cheaper pods. I love the machine and would buy it again. I waited to write this review until I owned it for at least 3 months, and it is fantastic. I was skeptical because of bad reviews, but I am very happy with the machine and is only a few inches wider than my last Ninja plus I get to have Espresso, so I consider it a great purchase. I did purchase a separate tray to sit it on that slides so it would be easier to add water as mine is under a cabinet.

Upgraded from a Keurig, say goodbye to watered down coffee... This coffee machine is so easy to use and is packed with so many useful features. The scoop tells you how many scoops of coffee grounds to put into the filter. The coffee comes out strong and tastes so good! Very easy to make your own cold foam with the built in frother. It is very easy to set a time for your coffee to brew each morning saving yourself a ton of time in the morning. The coffee also brews fast, and gives you the option to stop the flow so you can pour a cup and then resume brewing. Don't hesitate buy this coffee machine!
