Super Bright!
Easy to install, wiring is good quality, seems to be pretty well sealed, but I wish I could open the housing to change the mounting studs.

Easy to modify if you know how, work great on my Jeep
These lights are awesome! I bought them for my '94 Wrangler. Be warned, they will require a bit of work if you plan on using them on a Jeep. They are not plug and play. But if you know what you are doing, you can save yourself about $200. Factory replacement units omfrom omix-ada are $80 a piece. Plug and play LED lights are almost $300 for the set. All I had to do was push out the studs, and solder the wires to the old plug wit.re from the facomtory lights. And you just have to ground the white wire. The factory lights grounded to the housing. The results are amazing. With less than an hour's worth of work, I've saved a bunch of money, and my brake lights are super bright. Id also recommend replacing the flasher modules with no load/mechanical ones, so they are not load dependent. Otherwise they won't flash. I knew that was a possibility, and one of my flasher modules was bad anyway, so I replaced them. I would have had to with plug and play lights anyway.

Much brighter than my old rear light!
I backed-up my 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 Dump-Body to close to a stone pile, and cracked my drivers-side rear tail light. I searched Amazon for a replacement. Came upon the Maxx lights, and I read the specs/reviews. The MaxxHaul products had some good reviews, so I ordered them. (I ordered on a Thurs, and the lights came on Friday! I was shocked! How did they do that?) Anyway, Very pleased with the timing, and upon inspection, I was very pleased with the quality too. This is not a cheap-disposable-type light. Very similar to the old light, except my old light did have a running-light window in the side of the light....but I have other marker lights on the body, so I do not need that feature. The led light was much brighter than the old light, because, I still have the old light on the passenger side. There is 3 bolt-studs out the back of the light, so I did have to re-drill the mounting holes. (Old light had two bolt-studs, No big deal) The housing and the lens was thick enough for most applications. The price was right, I got 2 lights for a fair price. The light has been mounted for over a month now...and everything still working fine. (Just had the truck inspected). I am pleased with the design, and quality of the build. I would buy again. Wasn't sure about the led lights, but they are everywhere now...The new standard.

Replacement rear lights for 2006 Jeep TJ
I ordered these to upgrade the lights on my Jeep. You will need to do some research to ensure that you get the wires from the vehicle joined to the correct wires on the new lights - there are loads of places on the internet to get this information. My old lights were fitted with three threaded studs that screwed into the bodywork. The new lights have studs that project from the rear of the lights and go through the body work. The studs are larger than the original holes. On the left side, I simply redrilled the holes and fitted the light - no issues. On the right side I could not get to the back of the light on the Jeep body so I took off the new studs and replaced them with machine bolts to screw into the bodywork. I had intended to use the bolts from the original lights but couldn't as they were too short. In summary then - fitting wasn't straightforward but, with a little playing around, it worked. The lights are superb. I did replace the flash relay with one suitable for LEDs and that stopped the hyper flash that I initially saw. The lights are very bright and look great!

Easy to Install on Jeep Wrangler YJ - Bright LEDs
Great overall value for an easy-to-install LED Tail Light Kit. Clear & Bright Lights, Not Gaudy Looking as some LEDs can be. Looks to made of good quality parts and as durable as OEM. Vast Improvement over Stock Lights. Installation took less than 1-Hour using Phillips screw driver, 3/8" socket, wire cutters/strippers/crimpers, 22-gauge (red) butt-splices, ring terminal & electrical tape. The 3 mounting studs on the LED lights are just a bit larger in diameter than the stock mounting bolts, so the holes must be drilled out just a bit. The LED tail light wiring harness needs to be spliced in with the 3 proper wires on the factory wiring harness. I spliced the new light harness into old tail light harness, then plugged the newly modified harness into the factory body wiring harness, keeping both stock harness plugs intact.. Additionally, the White Wire from the LED Tail Light harness will need a crimped Ring Terminal grounded/bolted to one of the mounting studs to provide the necessary Ground for the Lights. The Connections from LED to Factory Tail Light Harness are as follows: LED Black Tail Light wire goes to factory Solid White Wire LED Red stop/turn signal wire goes to factory Dark Green/Black Stripe LED Yellow reverse light wire goes to factory White/Black Stripe LED White ground wire is bolted to Tail Light Housing Mounting Stud using Ring Terminal. In order for the Flashers/Turn Signals to work properly, the Factory Turn Signal Flasher must be replaced. I used a $10 Novita EL12 electro-mechanical turn signal flasher and works like factory.

Exact fit on my '79 F-100 short bed
Not only did the bolt holes line up perfectly, the mounting studs are SAE like OEM, not metric. No point restoring the original equipment unless you are doing a resto. For daily driver you can't go wrong with these. Very impressed with quality and cost.

Nice Lights
Replaced my original standard tail lights on 2000 F450 mason dump. Easy installation. They are very bright. Will have to install load resistors though as the signals go into hyper flash when blinkers engaged. Update: I replaced the flasher relay to slow down the dashboard blinker indicator. It worked. I thought it would stop the crazy light results I was getting at the taillights themselves and my trailer lights. Nope. I put in 2 Sylvania load resistors at my taillights and it solved the problems. All lights on truck and trailer functioning properly now.
