Very useful, very stinky
This lacquer worked perfectly! But make sure to use it in a well ventilated area, and it takes a while to dry. I did not use it in the most ventilated area and the smell gave me quite a headache. 😂

Sprays well and pleasant to use.
This product sprays easily and the fast drying allows multiple coats in a short time. Ideally, humidity should be low at application time. light sanding with 400 grit before final coat produces an excellent finish. Finish is clear and does not alter natural or stained color to any great degree. Not as durable as poly, but is a more appropriate finish for antiques. A coat of quality paste wax after fully cured (can be carefully applied with ultra fine steel wool) gives a warm, hand rubbed look. I have also used this over Watco oil after letting the oil dry/cure for at least 7 days - test first. Don't know about brushing. Careful, vapor is very combustible and hazardous to breathe - use proper respirator (organic vapor) not a paper dust mask!

Very difficult to apply evenly. I had to do it over several times.

It's a Quart Not a Gallon
Careful to pay attention to the size. This is a quart - not a gallon. Have paid same for a gallon but local box stores were out.

I was looking for a spray, but this was on sale so tried this instead. Its actually pretty easy to brush on, and couldnt see any brush marks after drying. Good stuff.
