I have an old chandelier in my entryway, and the incandescent bulbs were more than 25 years old. About half had burned out, and the rest were on their last legs. The light was super dim, and I had half a mind to replace the whole thing. I decided to try and clean it and replace the bulbs to see if that helped. A few of my old bulbs shattered when I tried to unscrew them, they were that old and busted. I had a hard time finding a bulb that was the same shape and base, but this worked perfectly! I love that they are LED, and that they are glass. They look so much nicer than my old incandescent bulbs, it feels like I got a whole new chandelier after a nice clean and switching out the bulbs. I'm so happy Philips makes these bulbs. The price is also very reasonable for the Philips brand and the quality, and I'm happy that I'm saving on energy costs with LEDs.

Something about me - I despise cold, harsh lighting! I only like warm-toned lights in my apartment. Because of this, I often struggle with buying lightbulbs online - as I've had a few instances where the color of the light has been too cool for my liking. However, these were such a great price that I decided to take a chance on them. And I'm so glad I did! These bulbs are truly a "warm white" color. The shade of light they provide is cozy and inviting, but also quite bright! I have one in a table lamp in my living room right now, and it lights up the whole corner of the room. I can't speak to their longevity yet, but so far I'm loving these lightbulbs! For the price, you can't beat it.

Great quality flicker-free light bulbs. Instant on, with slight fade out effect when turning off. (The quick fade-out is quite pleasant, and is probably a side effect of the tech they use to achieve the flicker free illumination)

Decent light output, nice incandescent-like white for living room. Work well, including flicker-free performance with a dimmer. Used this bulb in a lamp with a decorative glass shade that has some clear sections. The intense LED brightness through the clear bulb can be distracting. A frosted/pearl finish would be much preferred, but that just doesn't seem to be available.

I have a game room with a 6 bulb configuration. When using my Sony a6400 I used to get terrible black bars across my pictures due to the high shutter speed, since getting these bulbs, the lines are completely gone, and I've noticed a reduction in eye strain as well when gaming with the lights on. I have yet to find regular sized philips bulbs that are actually as flicker free as these are other than some of the higher end outdoor spotlight kinds but that could also be due to having 6 in this room vs 3 in other rooms?

Trash, says on the box it will last "13 years" but burned out in 8 months, LEDs in the bulb itself are different colors and casts different light depending on what side of the bulb you look at

Did you know your bulbs flicker? Can’t see it with the naked eye but your nervous system does. Take a slow motion video of your bulbs so see the flicker and you’ll be replacing them all with these. These are THE BEST bulbs. You’ll notice a difference immediately. The price is good and it’s soooo worth it.

I have a light fixture with an E12 socket. When I install Feit Electric LED candle bulbs, they sometimes flicker, which is quite annoying. Switching back to halogen bulbs eliminates the flicker, but halogen bulbs consume much more power—at least 40 watts per bulb—with lower lumen output. Now, I've found this Philips LED bulb that is a lifesaver. It provides higher lumens without any flicker. It solves my problem!
