Great little gadget. Emits two different sounds which is handy for adding milk to hot drinks. You can adjust the height of the pins (& so the amount of liquid) easily. Incredibly helpful for a sight impaired person to make drinks independently. It has a magnet to stick on the fridge which is a bonus.

I bought this gadget for my mum who is partially sighted. It works perfectly, the alarm goes off when the water hits the prongs - a bit loud but she’s getting used to it! The gadget helps her make herself a cuppa without burning herself or overflowing the cup. It’s a little gadget but it helps her maintain her independence so it has a big impact! Very reasonable price too.

So the Mother in law was moaning (as she does) that she struggles to gauge the water level when making a cup of tea.I thought I'd be nice and buy her this, to save her crow-like fingers from getting scalded.Does she use it? Who knows! Is she grateful? Who knows, as I still haven't had a thank you after 6 months.Should I have bothered? Probably not, but I thought it may win me a Brownie point.I Should have just bought her some new twigs for her broomstick instead!
