This men′s jacket is built to endure cold, wind and tough days on the job. Rugged without being rigid, made with durable cotton duck. This warm layer is lined with soft sherpa fleece through the body and hood, with warm quilted nylon through the sleeves. Slightly loose for a comfortable fit, subtle shape for a range of motion

Carhartt Quality
It's good. Keeps me warm and dry. Doesn't rip on tree limbs. American made, and everything in America is the pinnacle of quality.

Great jacket
Bought L but had to exchange for M instead as it was too big. The quality is great and the customer service were fab, so easy to deal with and the exchange was really quick 👍🏼 highly recommend

Nothing but Quality
Very comfortable, best qualities jacket for years. That's my second jacket first is without hood and after 7 years no signs of wear. Colour faint after washing but in my case it's only positive, looking vintage. Highly recommend brand.

Fantastic
Had carhartt clothing before and found it excellent, but this jacket takes it up another level! Warm and hard wearing with plenty of room for movement.

Close to perfect
Tried the regular models first, the medium was too short in the arms and waist while the large could fit two of me in it. So I ended up here and ordered the medium tall and it fits perfectly. I'm 188cm and about 83kgs (tall and lanky).. The only downside to this jacket is how much hair (lint?) it leaves on the clothes you wear underneath. It's like a shedding dog. I tried washing it but it only made it worse. Issue aside, I love this jacket.

A nearly perfect work jacket.
I have been a Carhartt fan for years, and I purchased the Utility Jacket to replace my 26 year old Carhartt chore coat. What do I like about this jacket: Everything. The Fit: I am 5ft 11in tall, 185lbs, Medium build, so I ordered a Large, and the fit is perfect from the sleeve length to the shoulders. Because the jacket is gusseted, it allows for full range of motion even with the jacket fully zipped and buttoned. The jacket has an adjustable waste cord, which I have not had to touch. Another nice feature is the jacket length, which falls at pocket level on a pair of jeans. The jacket is slightly longer in the back than in the front, which keeps it from riding up.Storage: The jacket has six pockets. Two front "hand" pockets, two buttoned breast pockets, an additional front left breast pocket with a center Velcro closure, which makes for a handy place to hold pencils, and an interior zip pocket on the left, which I use to keep my wallet secure. Pocket depth has not been an issue, and I keep an IPhone 13 in the front hand pocket with no issues.Warmth: The jacket is Sherpa lined. I've worn it hours in 25-32 degree temps and was comfortable with just a T-shirt under a Henley shirt. I would say that it would be comfortable to work in from 20-50 degrees. The zipper (right zipper) also has a button cover, making it that much more air tight. The sleeves are cuffed, though they don't appear to be at a glance. These cuffs really help with keeping cold air from seeping into the arms, especially if you're like me and you like to wear a thinner undershirt while working. There is a Sherpa-lined attached hood as well.Construction: This jacket feels heavy duty. The zipper is beefy, the buttons solid, and the overall construction is solid. I feel like I can use and abuse this jacket without destroying it. The duck outer lining is not soft cotton, but it moves, and feels strong without being stiff.Appearance: This is not a bad looking jacket and I might even call it stylish. I would feel fine wearing this while out and about.Demerits. I give this jacket one demerit, and it is a very minor demerit, and that is the attached hood. I like the hood, I like how it lays on the back when not in use without feeling bulky, I just wish that it could be removed. This is a very minor quibble, however.Overall I highly recommend this jacket if you are in the market for warm, heavy duty, and practical work wear. It is not inexpensive, but I feel it is worth every penny. In fact, I would go as far to say that even if you aren't in the market for a work jacket, but only warm jacket that can take a beating, then this jacket is worth considering. It is warm, comfortable, practical, and not bad looking.

Large Tall - AKA" big and Tall"
I'm 6'1 roughly 180lbs, and I needed a large "big and tall" which is really a" large tall" (this was on the label marked as LARGE TALL). a Large "big and tall" is really a large "tall". I ordered a large originally and it was too short, mainly on the torse and sleeves. I have sent it back and got the Large "big and tall" (again actually a large, tall). If you are similar height, I would suggest the Large Big and Tall (aka large, tall). If you are a heavy-set guy with similar height id start with a large, big and tall but might start looking at a XL depending on your weight/waist size. Layering up with a sweater is good with the sizing I got, plenty of room for layering if needed.Overall, a nice jacket, warm and nice fit. This jacket is more of a recreational use and not for work but I expect it to last with the Carhartt work clothing I have and how its held up thus far with the wear and tear from construction.hope this helps others placing orders.

Bartlett Jacket brown SMALL
