Great entry level anamorphic lens for the price!!!
This lens is awesome and it is built like a tank!!! This was the first I've ever used an anamorphic lens so I decided to venture to s Sunflower farm and tried this lens out was blown away by what it captured!!! I've included in this review the clip I captured and a screen snapshot since you cannot take pictures with this lens. I didn't get too caught up on F-Stop to T-Stop conversions and I just set the focal length to infinity (inf) and pointed at the middle of the field had at it. I didn't bring a tripod so I did add some smoothing in post as well as some color adjustments. This lens is a great value for the money for the sharpness and image quality potential it can provide for the sale price, and as an entry point to this medium. It's built solid and it's got some heft to it, so if you need something lighter, the SIRUI Saturn line, which is the carbon fiber version, might be considered, though it is higher in price. One final note the clips need to be de-squeezed via your EVF and in post otherwise it will look chunky to the eye.

Neut blue is for you
Its a bang for your buck type of lens if you have the setup. Heavy metal and slick to boot.

Yay, anamorphic
Excellent lens especially for the sale price. Quite a good image. Very sharp it but not too clinical. Fun to shoot anamorphic… I think the iris ring could have more resistance as well as the focusing. Even though it is an 82 mm front… It will not fit into my Matt box because there is an 88 mm just behind the 82 mm front… This is very frustrating.

Look especial
Súper top en calidad, le da un look especial. Tener cuidado con el estabilizador de la cámara porque lo hace ver gelatinoso

Love this lens!
I cannot get over how good this lens is. The 1.6 squeeze is so sick!! I use on my Canon R6 with an Atomos monitor. Freakin amazing!! Get one !!

Be patient its not going to be an easy lens at 35mm to focus by your own eyes without a monitor
Shot good what i could get in focus. Unfortunately even when using focus zoom on a tripod I still couldnt get focus or even really tell if I was in focus by hand so im not really sure how well a follow focus would do and this was on a sony a7riv that I spent a good 3 days with this lens trying to get something to work on a tripod for handheld as I purchased for wide photos and 30 second video clips or random places in nature that require wide angles and ended up just going with a normal wide angle lens from sony and sigma maybe the new auto ones will be a lot nicer and easier to use as I gave myself time and patience and I really couldnt get it to work for me.

Cinematically Epic!!!
It creates a stunning look, shot weddings and music videos with it. Especially with the lens flares that will impress Michael Bay or even JJ Abrams! Fully recommend!

Minimal focus distance is a deal breaker
This lens is great and everything except for the minimal focus distance of about 3 feet. This means that you really can't have anything 'large' in the frame. Everything has to be far away from the subject. Forget about insert shots, close ups, etc. Not going to happen. If you're down for medium/wide angles, go for it. The lens also didn't sit super tight in my Lumix S5. There was a hair of wiggle room which I thought was very strange.
