M-TacFleece Watch Cap - Army Military Tactical Beanie Hat Winter Skull Cap

I work in security. Primarily outdoors. The beannie is very snug and warm to the point of making me sweat if i walk too fast.But it will kind of slide up of the back of my head because all the extra layers of my uniform push against it when I look up. It's winter so two shirts, a dress shirt, a hoodie sweater, and a parka. Plus all the gear.So make sure you get the right size. I got the wrong size. Should have got a medium but went with the large. I guess my head isn't as big as I think it is.

The quality on these things is super surprising considering the price. The material is very soft and also meets a good midpoint between being too thin or too thick. This means that they are nice to have in both hot and cold environments. I love wearing one of these when I go out on hikes. The beanies are a very snug fit as well as being super comfortable to wear. The only minor gripe I have is that the color of the coyote brown one is way darker than its photograph makes it out to be, but I don't really mind so I'm not gonna dock points for it. Nevertheless these beanies rock and I would totally recommend.

Sweet beanie. This was just what I was looking for. The fleece is thick and warm enough to be decent in the wind, but its low profile and looks extremely slick with winter outfits when worn. Sturdy, well made. Probably going to get another one to leave in the car. Instantly became my all-day winter hat around the house on weekends too. The black is a deep black. Good for working out since it breaths once you warm up. The cut is right at the ear canal so you can gesture your AirPods without messing with your hat. Very nice when walking in the city, etc. I'd purchased some other beanies that were more expensive before this one (specialized for runners, etc.), but I wasn't as pleased with them. Freak'n love this one.

I was looking for something like this for quite awhile at an affordable price, it is a little small but it could also just be my big head. It is very warm and after awhile of wearing my head is quite toasty, I have worn on 20° days and my ears were warm. Can't say that about most products such as this now days. I would buy again!

I had a similar military issue "one size fits most" watch cap which I lost and I purchased this one as a replacement.First, I'd like to mention the color. I bought the Army Olive, which was a PERFECT match to the cap I lost. At the time, the military issue watch caps came either in Black or Army Foliage Green (which is equivalent to Air Force Sage Green). There was a broad selection of colors, so I rolled the dice on "Army Olive" and got an exact match to my other Foliage Green cap (for the uninitiated Foliage Green is a medium Grey/Green color).Now, for sizing, it is very difficult to find the sizing you want based on reviews because, it seems, that most people don't know how a watch cap is supposed to fit. I saw a large number of reviews, complaining that, "it doesn't cover my ears" or "it doesn't cover the back of my neck".This is a watch cap NOT a stocking cap. A properly sized watch cap should sit just above the brow line, cover about 2/3 of the ears, and come to the bottom of the hairline in the back. If you follow the sizing guidelines, this is the fit you will get. I wish people would understand this and stop complaining about the sizing being to small, especially the complaint about it "not covering the ears". Further proof of this is that they sell watch caps with ear flaps...if they were meant to completely cover the ears, why would they sell another version with ear flaps?If you want a watch cap to cover your ears and back of your neck, you will need to order 1 or 2 sizes larger than you measure. Also keep in mind that this doesn't mean they run small...it means that you prefer to wear them oversized.The watch cap I lost was "one size fits most" and just a little bigger than I needed, but not horrible. I think it would have been a Large based on M-Tac measurements.My head measures 22.5" and the Medium M-Tac fits perfectly.

I have a watermelon for a head so extra large sizes are tough to find. I measured my head at a little over 24 inches and the size chart said XL, so I went with it.It fits and is very well made! It feels as well made and robust as my Carhartt but I wanted to try a different brand and MacT is very good.Very happy!

I was excited about two things with this hat: 1) made in Ukraine, and 2) it comes in an XL size. The hat is well made, soft, warm, no issue there. The problem is even with an XL size, it stretches over my head, and gradually slides its way up until it's sitting on top of my head with my ears exposed. Have to constantly be tugging it back down. My head size is 24 in (61 cm), for reference. This is right about the border between XL and XXL on US hat size charts, so I had hoped that the XL would work, but unfortunately, no.

Great quality. Warm ! Fits snug, as it should.
