Sony DSC-W810 Camera Silver 20.1MP, 6x Zoom 2.7LCD

Not the best camera, however, it is by no means the worst. Compact, light and very easy to use, image quality pretty good, optical zoom is good, just don't expect pro quality images. For everyday use or the need to take a quick photo, it's perfect, it really is just a good point and shoot, compact camera.

Je me suis fait avoir donc je préviens. Rien de grave en soit, l'appareil peut-être configuré en français. Mais le chargeur n'est pas un adaptateur pour le 230V Français (Ph/N+T). Heureusement il s'agit d'un câble USB, à brancher donc sur n'importe quel chargeur ou prise USB pour recharger. Pas d'avis sur l'appareil pour le moment puisque reçu du jour, mais je suis habituellement satisfait des Sony DSC.

As at 8 Jul 24, I have now been struggling with Sony for more than a month (during which time camera has been totally unusable at less than 8 months old). Camera suddenly stopped working, for no apparent reason. When switching on the usual initial message, of "Cyber-shot" appears (with usual sound). But this changes to, "! Turn the power off and on again". However, turning off and on again does NOT rectify the situation, with the same message of, "! Turn the power off and on again" being repeated. Hence, the camera being totally useless (more than a month ago). I struggled to find out any information whatsoever re guarantee, have now been asked to provide information that had NOT been provided as a matter of course at time of purchase ... I am being told to photograph camera prior to packaging (which must meet specifications set by Sony) and sending to Sony (for "repair") with no responsibility being taken by Sony.
