ScalaClassico Men's Wool Felt Homburg Hat

I initially ordered the black in a XXL and it was too large.My wife suggested I order the camel in a XL and it fits perfectly however the camel arrived damaged.I've ordered the black in XL and am waiting for the hat to arrive.I returned the damaged camel hat and ordered another one and it arrived in perfect condition.These are Excellent Extremely Well Made Hats, I am very satisfied with these impressive Hats.Highly recommend!

I bought this homburg to try something different. I have a collection of relatively expensive Stetson and vintage fedoras. For 60 bucks I figured this was worth the try. WOW, I am very impressed! While the felt is stiff and probably inexpense, the hat has a great fit and finish. I wear a size 7 3/8 and got this in a large. A tiny amount of tissue paper under the inside band, and it feels just like a glove. I love it. While I still love my fedoras, this new hat does give me the “Michael Corleone feel.” Way cool, way fun. I must say it arrived in a plastic bag, and I am happy it was not damaged in any way. This fine hat is worthy of a secure box for transport. But no worries, if you order one, and it is damaged, send it back!

The hat runs bigger. Too high in the middle for me. But quality material.

I had originally bought this hat though a third party seller. They thought it would be a good idea to smash the hat and ship it in a plastic bag that was much smaller than the size of the hat itself. I could tell it was a nice hat, but it has been permanently damaged but the carelessness of the seller. I returned it and ordered another one from the primary seller. It's an amazing hat at a fair price. It fills me with confidence to wear it.

I have had an urge for decades to buy the Sonny Hat from the Godfather 2, prices at local haberdasheries were crazy.Amazon to the rescue.Price point excellent!The craftsmanship was 5 star, the brim, the band all high quality.I just could not wear it, as my head is a 8.5, this fit my forehead very nicely, but the crown-crease in the hat, allowed this hat to float off of the top of my head. It kind of looked like a clown hat on my noggin.The seller/amazon were very easy to get a refund, if this hat style fits you, buy this bargain.

I ordered a light grey XL Homburg, which turned out to be sold by Shoebuy. The box was badly dented, and so was the crown of the hat. However the hat wasn't worth blocking, so I returned it.The lining was attached to the hat only at one place, by about an inch of glue. The proportions of the hat are wrong, so that the dent in the crown ends up pushing on my head. Compared to my old Arnold Hatters Homburg, the material is very stiff and cardboard-like.I'll go to a real hat store for my next Homburg. I should add that this is the first time Shoebuy.com has disappointed me.

My husband loves the hat but it is a little tight. He's hoping with wearing it, it will loosen up.
