Nice heavy duty d rings
These are nice and heavy, and at a great price. I welded these onto my dump trailer to be used as permanent tie down point for my ATV and portable generators I use for work. They’re built very well, and are big enough to handle some serious weight but still get a gated ratchet strap hook to onto. I’ll be adding a few more just to have plenty of options for securing items very soon.

Quality product/no problems installing
I purchased the Autobot 1/2" Heavy duty Bolt on Forged D Ring tie downs with some concern about the bolt lengths being able to fit thru the D-ring plate, the steel backing plate, and a 2X8 board. I had already resolved, from reading the reviews for this product, that I would need to purchase longer bolts to make this work for my trailer D-ring tie-downs! Boy, was I surprised! These are quality tie-downs! The D-ring itself is heavy duty and is one continuous piece! The plates that secure the D-ring are heavy duty! The bolts seems to be more than adequate in quality and length. Once I had drilled the holes in the 2X8 board, I inserted the bolts thru the D-ring plate, thru the 2X8 board, and thru the plate below with plenty of bolt left! Actually, I had to use a deep socket to finish tightening down the SAFETY NUTS (no lock washers needed as these safety locking nuts should not back off) on each bolt. There was probably 5/8" length of the bolt extending beyond the nut after the nuts were tight. So, these bolts are plenty long enough for securing the D-ring thru any 2X's. The D-ring is nicely painted black! The D-ring is one solid piece and heavy duty. I'm pretty sure the boards will give way before this D-ring/bolts do! I have not secured or carried a load as yet. My main purpose for these D-rings it to secure a UTV 4 seater. If I do have a problem with these D-rings holding my UTV while traveling, I will update this post. But, at this time, I am very satisfied and happy with these 4 Autobot D-rings! I paid approximately $31.50 for this product using a coupon offer (10% off).

Nicely Manufactured and Good For Carrying Around Skyscrapers and Other Heavy Stuff
I wasn't paying attention, yet again, and over bought. That is, with these, the truck should be able to carry itself and a marching band. These things, in addition to being nicely manufactured, are majorly heavy duty. I might have to go out and buy the biggest Harley they have, to haul around and justify having these. These are so heavy duty, I'm going to try to give the respect they deserve. When I install them, I have four 1/8" aluminum plates I sized to the whole latch (e.g., about 4" x 5") they will mount on, and four more plates for the back side about half the size of the other plates. The combination of plates should allow me to give these beasts some of the respect they deserve. They should disperse any stress to which my step-side bed's sheet metal would, without them, be subjected, in the course of pushing the tie downs to even a fraction of their capacity. Think of it as using washers, but on as, of yet, unheard of synthetic steroids. Too, there is the matter of going down the road and heavy chains and things rattling. When I installed tailgate chains of a sufficient length to allow me to put the tailgate down, I, also, overbought. As I went to install them, it was obvious the new chains paled what was sold with the truck, and the tailgate would fail before they would. The heavy chains made themselves known, as I drove down the road, until I stopped at the local hardware and bought clear PVC hose I cut to a couple lengths and slipped on, to quiet them (it worked nicely, and by having two pieces that were open above the bottom loop of the chain, no water collected). In the end, I note the plates I'll use to mount these keep the rings from tapping against the metal of the bed. I suspect I will be well served by adding silicone pads for the rings to rest on, to minimize noise like was experienced with the chains. In the end, I am well pleased, even impressed, with the build quality and the capability of these tie down rings. They are WAY over-kill for hauling casual loads of big box lumber and sheet stock, a four-wheeler and so on. However, and mounted properly, they should bring peace of mind, while hauling that large compressor home using twenty-seven straps (hey, it's an hour drive and the wife was in constant fear it would cause the truck to flip on some treacherous corner. In the end, I may have to mortgage the neighbor's house to buy the biggest Harley made, just to haul it around, to justify these more than adequate means of securing loads.

Quality and pricing are great.
Works perfectly bolted to the floor of my trailer to hold the back of my motorcycle securely. Might be a little overkill but I enjoy that. Priced right as well.

Solid and nice looking tie down anchors
Excellent quality. A bit heavier duty than I was looking for but next size down was too light. Overall worked out nicely for trailer tie down anchors. Will never have to worry about these failing or pulling out.
