EBC S3KF1122 Stage-3 Truck and SUV Brake Kit, BLACK

I purchased this front EBC rotor kit for my 06 Ram 2500 a year ago. I have put less than 8k miles on my truck since the installation and its now metal to metal which I did not expected to be this soon. My daily commute is a short distance but I travel through lots of twisted and turning roads with declined and inclined elevation; elevation that can reach above 5500ft and drop to 3000ft in a stretch of less than 3 miles.The pads squeak on the first day of installation all the way up to this point. There are a lot of brake dust on my wheels due to the design of the rotor resurfacing the pads everytime you use the brakes. Braking performance is noticeable under heavy loads only, but when your empty, not so much. It helps to eliminate to spongy brake when it gets hot going down through to mountains. I lost opportunity to try other EBC pads since the rotor is now destroyed so I am going back to OEM.

First, This kit didn't come with any pads. Then the rotors were completely incorrect. Wrong bolt pattern/depth/diameter.Not even Close. I double checked the item number and it is correct. Unfortunately by the time I needed to install them it was past the return period (My fault for not checking when I received them). So I guess I am stuck with 60lbs of useless rotors. Hopefully I can cross reference the bolt pattern and figure out what they fit. Maybe I can sell them.

Very noticeable increase in stopping power. I’m running 37” Toyo MTs on my truck so I needed something to stop the extra rotating mass and these brakes did the trick. Only downside is the rotors are a bit noisy. Nothing a 5” straight pipe won’t fix.

what an amazing difference i could feel! my 2003 CTD would brake pretty good but after this upgrade this baby can stop!

kit came with no brake pads twice and when I went to install just the rotors they didn’t line up , save yourself the hassle and avoid buying this .

I bought these brakes as a kit with rotors and they were installed by my mechanic (30+ years Exp.) and all they do is Squeak, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak, Squeak!!! Yes they were installed correctly and broke in correctly, not worth the money! Did I mention they squeak? I've had dozens of brake job done by the same mechanic and NEVER had ANY issues whatsoever!
